I was wondering if anyone has seen this type of failure before.
I have an LA37A450 tv that when powered up, shows wrong colors on the panel. Black is shown as red, white is shown as yellow, light grey as light blue etc...in fact no color seems correct at all. It doesn't look like a normal gamma failure with some colors changed. I measured the gamma voltages and they seem ok, but I replaced the AS15 on the TCON anyway, but this has made no difference.
The boards are:
TCON - T370XW02 VC
Power Supply - BN44-00220A
Mainboard - BN94-01768C
TCON -
VGH - 25.6v
VGL - -5.98v
COMF2 - 6.48v
VCOM2 - 6.48v
AVDD - 15.5V
Has anyone seen this type of thing before? I'm tempted to go into the service menu and see what panel is presently selected, but I know I could brick it if I start playing with panel choices.
All help appreciated. I'll close it up and load some screen images shortly.
