    LG 60PB6650 plasma**PINK DOTS ON SCREEN

    I got this plasma the problem began on the y-sus and the tv won't turn on it only flashe the screen white so I did diagnostic the y-sus and a transistor was shorted SMK0825 I did replace it with same number from yunk parts....so now tv is working only thing it has pink small dots on screen...this can be y-sus problem or buffers....any suggestions..

    Take a look at the back side of the board and see if you can find cracked solder joints on the Y-sustain. Take a look at the inductors. They look like coils.

        When I change channels. it gets alot then they disapear little by little, but not completely just a few and it stays like that until I change channel again...

          Oh those pictures are great!

          Ok so you actually also seem to have a washed out picture. What that means is you fixed one problem but not all of them. You probably still have a shorted or low ohm transistor on your Y-sustain that is not allowing the board to work 100%.

          Do some more checks on the board to check for shorts on the Y. If you don't find any, you may have to take them out of circuit and check them individually to see if some are really low in ohms.
