Panasonic TH-42PA50E turns off after a few minutes or seconds. When powered for the first time after long time of no use, it works for a few minutes, then turns off. Red LED in front flashes 4 times.
If I try to turn the TV off and on again, it works for less than a second and turns itself off again. Sometimes blink code changes to 1 or 2 blinks, usually it's 4 blinks.
Sometimes the LED in front flashes rapidly as if starting up, but the TV does not turn on.
Blink code 4 means "Power SOS". However, I can not find any obvious fault in the PSU. When the TV works, all of the PSU output voltages are present and stable.
I checked PSU (TNPA3570), SC (TNPA3543) and SS (TNPA3544) boards for dry solder joints, resoldered a few components. This did not fix the problem. I see no bloated capacitors either.
I tried using a hair dryer and freeze spray to heat and cool PSU and other boards. That did not yield any definite results.
Is there anything else I can do to find the faulty board or component?
