    I only gave two 5v pins can I use one 5v for ps_on and dim?

      Hooah! I have a backlight with on/off on 5v and dim on another 5v.. this is as far as I've ever gotten. I don't have any resistor in PS_on.

      So what now?

          Thank you Dick and Bud, I appreciate the responses, and other methods to troubleshoot the issue. I'll find myself a main board. There isn't another way to test video with a resistor?
