    Panasonic tc-p50vt25 problem, help!

    Hi all,

My TV has started some strange behavior that I need some help troubleshooting. I turn it on and start to watch tv and then with no warning you can hear the tv click and the screen goes off but the red led on the front stays on and never blinks. Sometimes the tv recovers and has an error message "error occurred and was recovered" or words to that effect. Other times the screen comes back on and if you push the volume button on the remote it goes off or it recovers and sits for 20 seconds and goes off. No matter the behavior the red led on the front never blinks. I hope this is enough info for someone to make a suggestion. Very frustrating for sure.

    Thanks for the support,

    Scott

Yeah, sounds like mainboard(A-board) however this being a VT also has a D -board. I've heard of this before and also I picked up a 2010 U series with the same issue and it was the A-board I suspect heat and broken BGA solders.

If you did not have the D board I would say 100% A but I still think it's A but there's that chance I may be wrong. D failure I've read of 1 blink or coloured vertical blue and red bars across the screen.

Maybe drop PTS a line , they've probably seen it before and I doubt you'll find an A-board for less than $95 but I'd be as descriptive of the issue as you can especially if it's intermittant.

Thank you for the reply, I was leaning towards the A board myself and you are correct in saying intermittent. I definitely don't have any lines on the screen, it just stays black or gray until it recovers. I felt it was a loose connection or broken solder but seeing those are rather tough. I will start the hunt for an A board. If you think of anything else I will be happy to listen.

Panasonic ZT60 plasma tv with strange behavior and 8 blink code
        by cloo
I recently got my hands on a 60" Panasonic P60ZT60 plasma tv (european model) that has some strange issues along with an 8 blink code.
It know this tv is getting old but it was once considered one of the best plasmas ever made, and i think it is still holds on to that even by todays standards.

So, long story short. When i first got the tv it had a very bright washed out picture with very raised blacks in all picture modes and i couldn't find the cause in the picture setting menus.
After doing a factory reset this problem was gone and the picture was back to...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
        by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing hereπŸ€”?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting πŸ˜‚.

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
        by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

        Hi everyone!
I happened several times, in the search for help from the web, to consult this very interesting forum.
So I decided to sign up and I intend to participate actively by making available my knowledge and experience on the subject, I'm a new user but at the same time I'm old in the sense that I have 4 decades of experience in repairing and designing electronics but above all I'm a great passionate about the subject.

Having said that I come to the gist of my post on the forum as the title suggests.
For my passion for technology I'm now collecting several...

Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1 BIOS repair
        by aa10aa10
        Good day,

I have tried to remove BIOS supervisor password from Panasonic Toughbook CF-33 mk1. Model number CF-33AENABTG, unfortunately I don't have any other info.

I read the BIOS using afuwin, edited it and tried to flash new edited BIOS using afuwin. Unsuccessfully. Afuwin showed "Error: Problem erasing flash." starting with 0x00040000 and stoped. Then I tried many other options to flash BIOS from Windows without any luck. Finally i rebooted the device - and no post. Afterwards I have read the corrupted bios chip (MX25L12873F) using EZP2010 programmer....
