    Panasonic tv issue

I have a Panasonic tc-p42x60, it just stopped working. When I plug it in, the light blinks once then stays on. I looked up what that meant and found out it is the Stv 5v sense dg board. Wondering if anyone can confirm this? If so, I am looking to get the part to replace this.

    Thanks for your time.

If you can take a short video of the power on and error sequence of the LED that could be handy.

It's a 2013 HD series TV and from what you're quoting it sounds like your searching 1 blink error codes but there is no such thing as a DG board or STB 5V sense in these. That I feel is going back to 2009 or maybe 2008 models.

This TV is going to be really basic inside too with 3 main boards to deal with,

    The SN, PSS and A-board

A normal one blink would be blinking once every 3 secs. But you say blinks once then stops?

Not being familiar with this model but could it be attempting to start up (1 blink) then the LED locks solid on failure?

Some of the later models can go locked solid LED with a dead short somewhere.

On a good note, Payless Components has the main A-board for the lowly price of $18 TNPH1048UA

The PSS for $47 PSS n0ae6jk00007

The Sn for $12 SN TNPA5830

So for less than $80 you have the guts minus the C buffer boards but highly unlikely the C boards will be needed.
