    VIZIO E550VL No Backlight

I have a old Vizio E550VL with no backlight. I do have a picture when I use a light up to the screen. The fuses on the inverter boards are ok and I have 24volts at those fuses when turned on. Not sure on the next step.

Next step is to check and find out if you have 24VDC at both ends of the SMD fuse on the inverter boards with ref to the chassis GND or not.
If you do, the you will need to find out if you have BL-ON signal to the inverter board or not.

ON/OFF on the inverter board is the same as BL-ON or INVR-ON.
IF all you get is 0.50VDC when the TV is turned on then the main board is not sending the ON/OFF (BL-ON) to turn on the Backlights circuit.

But were you getting the backlight on voltage as Budm advised because as he said it is provided by the main board?
Willing to help but I'm no expert.
