    I would remove that solder and do it right. Also, resolder everything that has a rivit hole under the power supply.

      Can you point me to the actual power supply? I see several small “transformers” on the main board. Also, the tv worked fine for several months but you think I should still resolder the coils on the zsus?

        Power supply is in the middle of everything. The power cord plugs into it ,or is wired to it. Yes you should fix that crappy solder. Use leaded solder.

          If there’s continuity among all the coils, do they need to be resoldered?

            These posts are a little old but I can guarantee that the TV turning off into stand-by mode is most defiantly the power supply board. In most cases the TV will stay on if there is no input signal and as soon as you try to play a movie or device the TV turns off. Switching out the power fixes the issue but I have 4 of these TVs so I have at least 1 power board I will attempt to repair.
