    Sony KDL-55EX710 picture reddish

    Please see the picture. I ordered a T-Con board and replaced, and reseated the cables from t-con to panel and t-con to mainboard, no change.

    I am not confident if the bought T-Con is good, but should not be exact problem after replacement.

    Any idea, is it main board issues ?

      Hello everyone,

      I've recently been given a Sony 8k Z8H. It's got a white screen with two vertical black bars. At times it's given me the 5 blink Tcon code. Testing voltage on the Tcon I can see some low or missing voltage. I've done a basic visual check of cables and the COF. Not seeing anything obvious. The original Tcon seemed to have good caps until turning it over. On the bottom I found maybe 10 caps with both sides of the caps shorting to ground. I thought ok these caps and likely other components on the Tcon are shorted so let's try a replacement Tcon. I just received the...

      VIZIO E70-E3 Half picture with half TCON

      Hi,
      I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
      Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
      I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
      Main board appears fine, too.
      I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
      There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
      If both are connected, the screen is black.

      Sony XBR-85X950G Gray horizontal lines and vertical picture shift diagnosis?

      5.5 year old 85 inch Sony Bravia X950G started showing gray horizontal lines across the bottom of the screen and the picture shifts slightly vertically when it happens.       Sony KD-55X9000F TCON Issue

      The TV shows a black screen with no image.
      TCON ribbon connectors were disconnected individually for image and there was no half image even.
      Later both ribbons were disconnected and TCON voltages were tested.
      12V, 3.3V, 1.8V were seen present but VONE signal reads 0V.
      There is also a short to ground in this circled inductor.
      Is this a TCON issue or something else ?...
