    LG 32LD320 5v standby only - Fixed

Thought I'd post a solution to this LG I fixed today, maybe it will help someone out.

On turning on the power the standby LED would just flash. No voltages found apart from 5v standby.

Poked about on the mainboard and found 5v on the input of IC801 a SOT223 marked 17-33. Figured this was a 3.3v voltage regulator but I was only measuring 80mv on the output. Pulled it off and find a short between the output and ground. I pulled a couple of the surrounding ceramic caps but it still remained. After a gentle nudge from Th3_uN1Qu3, I injected 3.3v using my power supply and found C2025 toasty hot.

Pulled the cap and the TV powered straight up. Replaced with a 1uf 10v.
The TV has been on all afternoon, fixed
