50ps60

Im looking at a buddys lg 50ps60. He said it wont turn on. I got it and it turns on, but the display is dim.
When menu is on, the middle third of screen is clear( but dim and fuzzy ), and the left and right thirds have red transparent vertical segments, which match up with thee bottom buffers.
I can get pics of everything if needed. Vsus and va are spot on.
Does anyone know what the problem is?
Grainny display makes me think zsus, but whats with the red segments?

No problem, normally on them if its the board Im thinking of. Theres three transistors and 2 resistors that need to be changed to fix it.

Got a zsus board today. Put it in screen lit up brighter than before, still has red vertical cloumns on the outside(left and right) 2/3 of screen(transparent), then shuts off after 20 seconds.
Screen still looks washed out .
Might have a bad one. They do take returns.
I can post any pics you need tomorrow, screen and boards.

well.... bad news. Panel is blown. Gutted and packed up.
I might have to wait at least a week or two to use them.....lol!!!!
maybe two years, but, at least I have them. Thanks for the help!!!!
