    Sharp lc-60le845u 2 slow 5 fast code

Sorry no pics as of right now i just wanted other peoples opinion
Tv does the slow 2 blink 5 fast blink code i have read all threads on similar models i have pulled ribbon from t-con same code it is led edge lit tried disconnect led wires same error code no mater what i do i get same code
I have learned to be more selective as to what tvs i will attempt to repair
because it is a waste of time even if i get the error cleared i have no idea if the back part of the panel is cracked front looks fine but looks can be deceiving
the back side could be cracked and will not know until i get it to light up and then find it was all in vain Question does anyone know positively what i can do with the 2-5 error code because i am not going to waste my time on some that is not worth the aggravation. I am dieing from emphysema and did enjoy electronics as an outlet and i have a lot of experience with these tvs and that is why i will probably say the hell with this tv unless someone has an easy way to tell if it is worth my time. Yes i would like to see it working but at the same time i have learned when it is time to give up i have not taken voltage readings because typically this error is not the power supply budm and ttom have a lot of experience so question 2 all should i just say the hell with the tv and bring it back to the recycling place i got it from

Thanks R J that did the diagnosis yes the panel is cracked stupid me i should have left t-con connected and disconnect ribbons to panel that is why i am tired of getting tvs
from my recycling place the majority have bad panels thanks again R J otherwise i would have kept it here and worked on it on and off until i held up my hands in defeat

            Hello all,\
I went through the each step on Tech tip and blink pattern stayed the same. Disconnecting the TCON 12V supply also did not make any difference. 12V comes up and when the set starts to blink 2 short and 5 long 12V goes down. I replaced the power supply and Main so far no change. TCON also replaced from Shop Jimmy. I either dealing with bad parts or the blink pattern probably related with something else. When the set came in it had a bad main and did not have any blink code. Any advise will be really helpful. Thanks.

                by DynaxSC
                Hi Folks

I have an MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 (MS-7525) which underwent LGA1700 replacement and had a missing resistor in the VRM section. The missing resistor RV170 (49,9Ω) has been resoldered, and I have also replaced a demaged LGA1700 socket.

Generally the board does boot to Windows, but not always in the first attempt, but after the second attemp to boot the board with Power Button. Also restarting the board from Windows ends up with stuck boot process, but restarting the board again (long push Power Button or switching off and on PSU). Under Windows etherything works

Good morning... I'm new here and have a LOT to learn.

I'm a rescue-er. I live in NYC and I don't even want to get started on the amout of stuff that makes it onto the curb, to be crushed and in a land fill, simply because our repair shops have been sold out and because - well, it's a disposable society... Anywho

I have 1 motorcycle, 3 Jaguars and a Porsche that were all headed to the crusher due to a couple handfuls of needed parts and a Lil Love,,, I'm hooked on the rescue. A member of several forums and a huge fan of DIY environments such as this one. Hats off to you...

                Sharp LC-80LE844U Blinks 2 slow, 5 fast
                by joblo37pam
It's been a while since I've checked in here or needed input on narrowing down what to replace on a TV repair, but I've got one on my bench now that has me wondering. The lack of part (board) availability means I may need to do some component-level diagnostics, and a second opinion is always good when it comes to that.

The issue - Sharp LC-80LE844U does not display. Power light comes on for a while, then you can hear a relay click off and the light blinks twice slow, then five times fast. Service manual points to 'Panel Power Supply Error' with this code, but isn't much more help...

                Bestec ATX0300F5WA - fast,or slow blow, fuse?
                by socketa
I bought a dead motherboard, and connected it to this PSU,
Was checking the standby voltages on the motherboard, and, whilst doing so, the PSU made a loud bang with a flash of light.
So now i truly got a bang for my bucks, and something else to try and fix.
The fuse was blowen, and the top was blowen off of a TNY276PN chip
The glass fuse didn't have any marking to say if it was fast or slow blow
So i checked the marking on the PCB thinking that that would tell me,
but it 's got a T/F8A printed on the board
So should i get a fast blow fuse, or should...
