that is one of the codes that will get you into the hospitality menu from there you can change security

Tried readjusting everything pic is better but not to my satisfaction
it seem maybe I just am used to a better quality pic even for a 720p tv
My sony 720p has a much richer color tone to it
To me this tv has a washed out pic color wise and adjusting RGB either gives an ok pic or
to much pinkinsh color Oh well looking at reviews for this tv people were not that impressed with it anyway so I will just give it away so some charityLeave a comment:

I have tried adjusting RGB so far I can only make it worse not better
If I use the Dynamic pic setting it is too strong of a pic as if too much color sometimes a greenish sheen around peoples hair But I will try again with the settingsLeave a comment:

Yep no separate T-Con Board I will try to take pics but on dial-up internet it is hard to upload
I have decided it is the T-Con But for future reference it would be nice to know which
of the numbers 32a6ahid,32a6afod, 32a6ahod etc etc I am supposed to pick.
Since they do not match any numbers I can find. In service menu if I pick a different number the screen turns upside down but when restart tv it is back to rightside up and I do not notice much difference in pic quality but if I remember correctly some numbers give me the options to...Leave a comment:

1st off sorry no pics
This tv just does not have very good color
Skin tone is pale I updated firmware and restarted the tv the tv then said needed to go into service menu and set things
Service menu lists options type as 32a6ahid,32a6afod, 32a6ahod etc etc
None of these numbers match the panel number or any other number I can find
I do not see much difference when trying different numbers
Under svc in the service menu I get T-CON download failure
What exactly is t-con download I am assuming the t-con is bad somehow

Same problem and same fix.
I glued connector 1st then I took out both boards at the same time
Re-soldered and it has been working perfectly for 2 months now
I wish I would get in more of these.

General LCD repair
A lot of people on here will probably disagree with me on this but i am going to say it anyway as food for thought. When i work on an lcd tv i do not go out and buy new/used power boards, t-con boards or main boards if it is a cap
problem in pwr supply i put a used cap i salvaged from other tvs just to see
if that is the only problem or if there is more issues.Then i will put high quality parts in if it is worth it. To me everything i have seen with lcd tvs tell me they are most of the time not worth repairing

Thanks R J that did the diagnosis yes the panel is cracked stupid me i should have left t-con connected and disconnect ribbons to panel that is why i am tired of getting tvs
from my recycling place the majority have bad panels thanks again R J otherwise i would have kept it here and worked on it on and off until i held up my hands in defeatLeave a comment:

Sorry no pics as of right now i just wanted other peoples opinion
Tv does the slow 2 blink 5 fast blink code i have read all threads on similar models i have pulled ribbon from t-con same code it is led edge lit tried disconnect led wires same error code no mater what i do i get same code
I have learned to be more selective as to what tvs i will attempt to repair
because it is a waste of time even if i get the error cleared i have no idea if the back part of the panel is cracked front looks fine but looks can be deceiving
the back side could be cracked and will not... -

I have replacement caps and will use a better quality than the original
I just find it interesting that it has the "k" vent pattern as if they were going to make a counterfeit Ruby and instead just stick any label on it.

Counterfeit Cap Question
Does anyone know what the official vent pattern is on NIC Components
Caps. I have a cap that is of the discontinued NRSA series from NIC Components
that appears fake.
The vent pattern is the "K" of a Rubycon cap and from Nic website
the writing on the cap appears wrong also such as the country of origin not
printed correctly. The cap is ever so slightly bulged
Sorry no pics right now since this is on a control board for a Harman P68
wood pellet stove supplying my home heat right now. Will post pic when get replacement board.

I use 91% isopropyl alcohol with a cue tip and rub straight along the scratch since i get
tv's from a recyling place most have some scratches but i have had good luck with this technique if you try this, test on a small spot and if it makes things worse then do not
do the rest of the scratches with this technique but for almost every tv i have worked
