LG 32LE5300-Help with LG LED parts search

    Good morning,

I am having the hardest time finding a part for my LG tv, and wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. About 1.5 years ago, my LG tv went dark. The tv was just 20 days past it's warranty and I've already been in 20 circles with LG and they will not help out. I'm an avid DIYer, mostly mechanical, but tackle the electrical issues when I feel gutsy. I stripped the tv all the way down to even separating the panel. I found that the lower left LED strip had a bad diode. These diodes have to be installed by a robot because there's no way I'm getting a solder iron in there. The TV is an LG 32LE5300-UC.CUSDLH. The panel is an AUO T315HW04. I've noticed a lot of similar items on ebay over the year that include the full mounting bracket. If that's the case, I'm looking for part number 73.31T12.001-2-SK1 or 100812 which is also stamped on the strip. There's also a couple numbers on the LED board when removed. Those are TT31T12001QXZ71XA07R0466 and 31T12-016 or 018. The LED strip has 36 LED's across the strip, and number 16 is the bad diode. I have searched US Ebay, a few other countries ebays, multiple USA parts suppliers including shopjimmy, sears, etc. I can find plenty of boards, cables, screws for this tv. But it doesn't seem anyone ever sells any of the panel's guts. I don't want to throw out a $750 tv for a $20 part, which is why I've stuck with this over a year. Does anyone have access to a store that I'm not aware of that may sell this part? Thanks in advance for the help.

one strip had 2 groups, each groups had 18 LEDs 73.31T12.001-2-SK1 are 7030 type with 7x3 mm size 6 volts. as its double LED

please make measure of one LED L.W with mm to confirm the size i mentioned above.

If you're saying that a single strip is 2 groups, then yes, you're correct. There are 4 total strips on the tv, 2 up, 2 down. Each of those strips has a total of 36 LED's across. I'm trying to track down one of these strips.

Feeling desperate then find the dead led, cut it out and short the pads (easier than soldering a replacement led in such a small space). Add two or three dropping diodes to the cabling to the strip if you are concerned about higher current because the led is gone.

2 questions, what's the proper way to remove the LED diode? Second, How's the proper way to short it? Just drop a couple drops of solder in the opening? The glass pane for the panel rests on top of these LEDs, so I don't want to cause any issues.

On ebay there is a whole tv. Strip your parts and sell the rest again.

              Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
              by Pipolups
              Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

              Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

The TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

              by benareeno
I wonder if i shorted the whole strip...where to put pos and neg to just light up a single diode...or the entire strip. The strip lit for a second...so maybe i fried it? What say you?

I have an adjustable dc power supply and was trying around 9 volts.

I have a pic of a single diode...where to put pos and neg terminals to light it up?

Pic of middle of strip..is this where i light the entire strip?

And pic of end...or does this light the entire strip?

Where to put pos and neg for single diode..multiple diodes and the entire...
