The only settings in the factory settings sub menu are shipping mode, aging, factory channel and ssc adjust. Cannot find reset anywhere

Maybe it is shipping mode? im sure ive read something about this doing a reset.

no idea too be honest have you gone into shipping mode and looked whats available in that sub menu

Just asks for confirmation then powers down, when I power it up again same scenario

Im not sure what your next steps are then i guess either find another main board really cheap that matches your panel make etc or try a eeprom change but theres no gaurantee i guess its either of them i wonder if it could be a lcd panel issue? i just dont want you wasting your money on parts that may not be at fault.
