OKI OKITVV32T2 repair, Vestel 17PW20 V1, stuck in Standby (fixed)

Blue standby LED on, you press for powering on and it blinks twice just to get back to solid blue.

Vestel made TV, with 17PW20 V1 power supply. I find both 4700uF/6.3V caps bloated (by G-LUXON). But I know that it won't be enough with these two. Full ESR check and I find high ESR on C834, C835 (100uF/50V G-LUXON, one of them up to 7Ω ESR) and C826, C881, C874 (10uF/63V G-LUXON all about 4Ω). Film caps C877 and C878 show correct capacity, no problems with these.

Replaced bad caps and working fine now.

Sony KDL-40EX403 Stuck on Standby Fixed

This TV was stuck on standby, all the voltages tested ok. I Googled the problem
and found that the ambient sensor could be causing the problem. I disconnected the two leads going to the ambient sensor (on the infra red remote sensor board) and the TV worked with no problems.

All voltage are OK on PSU and main board for regulator. I tried flash firmware 25Q64 with many dumps

Troubleshooting Vestel TV, has standby, but cannot turn ON
    by Adenitz
    Hello,
I need advice in troubleshooting Telefunken TV (it is actually Vestel). There is red Standby light but TV cannot be turned on either by remote control (which is good and tested on another TV) or by actual on/off switch at the back of the TV.
Power board is Vestel 17IPS71 and I'm not sure about the mainboard, it seems like 17MB82S
Both boards are shown in the attached photos.

What is normally first that is checked in this case. I have removed power board, make sure it has no dangerous voltage on the big caps and check many components (transistors and diodes)...

LG 32LB1R - stuck in standby mode
    by lego1234567
Hi. I have the following problem with my TV. After connecting to mains, the standby led (red) turns on, but TV is not responding to remote control or buttons on TV. After some measurements, I found out that +5 V standby voltage is present, but I dont have ON/OFF signal coming in to turn PSU on. It stays at zero volts. After looking at the schematic of the mainboard, I should get ON/OFF signal coming in at the R1402 resistor, but it stays around +3,5 V. So I removed it and I was able to turn on TV with buttons on TV, but not with remote control.

What could be the problem ? Thanks...
