XVT3D474SV logo blinks for about 35s and then the TV works normally

I am working on Vizio XVT3D474SV, which gives me interesting problem; or maybe its is normal.

When I first plug the TV in the wall, the orange Vizio logo lights up orange (or amber, who knows). Then when I press the power button on remote or TV itself, the Vizio logo starts to blink orange/white for about 35s and then stops at orange again. When I press the power button for second time, the TV turns on normally and it is fully operational. I can then turn the TV on and off at will without having the logo blinking at me.

Only when I unplug the TV, even for a second, I have to wait 35s the first time, before TV starts to behave normally. Is that normal for these TV, or am I missing something?

I have a 42" Vizio model that starts with XVT3D, it does the same thing after being unplugged and plugged back in, the vizio logo blinks amber to white thirty some and sometimes up to sixty some times. It is normal for XVT3D models.

That is normal when first plug in due to it has to load up the system before running, it is one of those smart-TV, I had one in last week and I thought there was something wrong with it too, it does that if you unplug it and plug it back in again.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping that that would be the case.
I have picked up another XVT#### Vizio and its doing the same exact thing, so I guess the XVT types have this "issue"

EIZO CX270 - No signal but Backlight and Panel works, logo works, admin menu works. OSD doesn't. What?!
          by vf fa
Hi, so i guess I´ll have to make a new topic here, as i browsed through hundreds of other threads but couldn't find a solution to my problem yet.

I got a EIZO CX270 from a friend. He said it doesn't work anymore and wont display any signal or take any OSD inputs. Well, as an aspiring photographer I couldn't say no, could I? Thought it was an easy game, replace a bad cap and have a working monitor. But nooope, it wasn't supposed to be this easy.

So let me start with the problem description. I'll try my best not to skip anything so this might get rather long.

Dell XPS 9300 (LA-H811P) internal display only shows Dell logo then nothing (everything else works)
          by TheQuentincc
          Hi,
I have a Dell XPS 9300 that's working perfectly fine with an external display plugged, from windows the internal display isn't detected. At boot I can see the Dell logo then when it should display the boot/bios or whatever the screen goes black (no backlight, no image using a flashlight). I tried unplugging everything on the motherboard except the eDP cable but it didn't helped (so it's not the lid sensor). LCDVDD/backlight power are powered down when this happen, PANEL_BKEN_EC and ENVDD_PCH are also down to 0v. It's weird, it almost feels like the motherboard is shutting down the display...

          by Verlengsnoer
          Hi all,

Im looking for a tool to change the bios logo.

everyone knows when you turn on your laptop/pc you will see the manufacturer logo like lenovo, hp, dell...

i know that HP has a build in option to change the splash logo.

but i want to change the manufacturer logo to an own logo.

I try'd Change Logo 5.0, but when i make a backup of an laptop and edit the logo and flash the editted version back on the laptop the logo diddnt change.

Panasonic P58V11B 8 and 12 blinks error "fix"
          by Biruslapio
Bought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.

Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner...

Dell ATX PSU won’t start, but forcing it works fine?
          by CapLeaker
Got a case of something new weird at work. There is an old 2nd gen Intel i3 in an old “Pizza box” shell that has a small form factor power supply. Unfortunately I forgot to take pictures and model number off it.

Anyway, I get to work and get to look at this computer. Standby LED on the PSU is on, but the computer won't start. Hmm o.k. take the battery out of the main board try again, nothing. O.k. then… unplug the power supply from the main board and put in a full size ATX PSU (yeeeesss! Exact that blown Powerman IP that I fixed a while back), plug it in and the old...
