    Sharp PN-E702

    Good Morning,
We have a Sharp PN-E702 that loses backlight after 20 seconds. We are trying to rule out wheather its the display or the supply. On the 14 separate supplies we have about 180v supplying the screen. On the return from the screen we only have between 1v and 1.7v. After disconnecting the return voltage on the 14 separate pins the voltages range between 70v and 90v. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Best Regards Peter

Sounds like a bad Led in the screen to me. You will have to take the Lcd panel apart and test the Led backlights.

Thats what we were thinking as well,,unfortunately due to the size of this beast its a real pain to do without risking cracking the screen.
