Replaced main power board that was actually smoking from a short. After replacing board, unit powers on, has a picture with sound, flickers, then powers itself off. Any help appreciated.

Also, bottom light turns blue for small moment then to the pendulum red, then to solid red. Not sure what that means -

Hello.
Yesterday my mother encountered a problem with her laptop, which led to it not turning on and expressing the behaviour mentioned in the title (you press the power button and then it turns off after a minute)
Here is what happened:
At one point i was fixing a setting on the laptop to make the laptop properly recognize the NVMe drive i put in months ago. All worked until all of a sudden the computer blue screened. Hi all need some help, I've got a Dell insprion 15 3542 that turns on works for about 30 seconds or sometimes a minute or two and then turns off and wont turn on again until I remove and replug the power connector
Not heat related, everything is ok regarding to that.
All voltages are present.
Wondering if this as anything to do with one wire circuit, the charger is not original, but it was working fine

The issue with this set is that it turn on just fine and after a minute or so the picture shows either vertical lines or turns half black and from that point on starts a boot loop.
If a let the unit to cool down for a minute the same pattern starts again. i had exactly the same mainboard as a spare and replaced it but nothing changed.
Any ideas what to check?... -

I am new to this forum and have searched for some answers with problems similar to mine.
Philips TV powers on as normal for about a minute or less then click and no power at all not even standby light. If i disconnect from mains and reconnect it will power on again but for a shorter time. Once i leave it disconnected from main for a longer time it will power on for a longer period the next time.
It sounds like a power supply issue?
I have the board out and want to run some tests. Not sure what i should be doing but i put a 1k resistor across SB and +5v... -
Vizio M60-C3 powers on, perfect logo, turns off. If you don't touch anything it will repeat this process by itself until it is unplugged. Not the "button board" since I disconnected the cables to the main board and the problem persisted. So I'm fairly positive something is going on with the main board, but want to know if there is a fix for this other than replacing the expensive mainboard, which may eventually have the same problem. Also, heat sink was hot as hell when this all started. Unplugged for a few days and same thing happens.
My kids are getting antsy waiting...
