Help identify ST Micro regulator or oscillator chip

This is located close to the rectifiers on the board
    LJ92-01511A goes to a Philips 50PFP5532D

I cant find anything on L4911AD that fourth letter or number is all scratched up and fuzzy

the closest I can find is L4971 from ST Micro but that only has 16 pins not 20

I suspect it is the culprit of my dead board because it is connected to the base of a transistor which runs an oscillator for the first set of power mosfets on the board .. you can see pin 20 on the chip goes across a resistor connecting to the base of the transistor in the photo

.. the rectifiers work fine .. the missing cap I removed in the oscillator (you can see it in the pic) 4.7uf electrolytic tests fine with ESR .. the transistor was removed as well and tested fine .. not knowing the pinout of this chip is eating my lunch

    Thanks

        ----------------------------------------------------------

        Q: I have a bios request,i can`t post my backup as i can`t read from the chip.

A: If you can`t read from it how do you expect to write to it ?.

Q: Why is my bios chip unreadable ?.

A: The programmer is faulty or has a worn or broken zif socket.

The USB cable is frayed, connector pins worn or some other physical damage.

Not enough amperage or voltage to power the programmer properly.

ASUS TP412F 3.3V Regulator chip gets very hot
        by mferna14
Hi all., I am working an ASUS TP412F., motherboard Model TP412FAC R: 2.0. The problem I am facing is the 3.3 buck converter (L8=7J RT6256BGQUF) gets very hot when 19v is applied through DC-in jack. I don't think Schematics or Boardview is availble for this model. The chip get so hot that I can't even take the voltages of the pins. I replaced the chip but the problem is still there, new chip even gets very hot. The input on pin 5, 19v is present. So I removed the Output coil & the chip & checked the voltages on the chip pads which are as below: Please view if any volts seem to be abnormal....

        Latitude 5521 - broadmoor 15 TGL-H 12L 5v 600ma can anyone identify this chip?
        by AJ847.63e
        Hi all,

got a latitude off of a old colleague which is stuck at 5v and not turning on no signs of life.

ive done some digging and it seems like pu4501 (5193 ti 1a8 adgh is the chip markings) is shorted. Getting up to around 74c. Haven't removed it yet because i haven't been able to confirm what chip it is.

Googling the markings brought up only one result, tps 51396 but the markings are 51393 so I'm assuming it's a tps51393 but googling that it seems like the chip engravings are different to the one I have so I wanted to confirm whether my assumption was right...

        by Troystain
Hello, anyone here have updated ezp2023+ chip database in .dat file format.

I need to add w25q256jveq chip but I do not know what data should I type.

I'm using the ezp chip dabase editor posted from here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...ro-programmers

The currenty unit model that I am trying to detect is HP elitebook 640 g9 which is currently locked on admin bios....

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
        by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...
