I'm guessing corrupt firmware but it keeps re booting up, and loses one of the 5v rails after a few seconds , so wondered if anyone has any ideas before I spend the next 6 months looking for a board on eBay

have you thought about a pre programmed chip? maybe from ohm supplies does the set fully start if you freeze the eeprom/flash chip if so you maybe able to reload the data etc.Comment

You misunderstood me lol, watch my 17mb82-2 firmware repair video and follow the steps. maybe the new mainboard does not match the lcd panel used in your tv can you get into the service menu im sure you need to look at the lvds settings in the service menu take note of the old setting before you alter anything though.Comment

Hi, I was recently given a Bush Smart TV by a friend and the main board seems to be hanging on by a thread.
Before we get to that, my first obstacle was figuring out the model number since the back sticker has gone for a walk. Upon taking off the back case, I noticed the following Vestel parts, 17MB95m mainboard, 17IPS71 (what I'd assume is power supply) and a VES420UNVL-3D-S02 display panel. Vestel 500UNDC using a vestel 17PS20 power board. Backlights come on and picture shows for a few seconds and then goes dark. Sound is fine. Is this a problem with the led strips or the backlight driver ? Many thanks -
Hello everyone from Italy, I'm here to ask for help on a Vestel TV, I've had a Vestel TV branded "XD" with a broken screen for years, but now I've found a Telefunken (still Vestel but older) and I've mounted the panel on the "XD" TV, it works, but the screen is upside down, given that Vestel does not allow you to rotate the image from the service menu, does anyone know how to solve the problem? the original panel is marked ves315WNDS-2D-N12 while the main board 17mb110, the panel I mounted instead in the tv (from the telefunken) is a ves315WNDA-02. ... It is not worth repairing... -
hi there,
Got this macbook after liquid damage. Nothing major, cleaned and reflowed what was suspect. Now, the laptop turns on and boots up but shuts off intermittently - sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a few hours.
Can be immediately started from keyboard right after. Plug stays orange during this time. No battery.
Gives shutdown cause -128.
Seem to work fine in SMC bypass.
Same shutdown happens with disconnected TP/KB/KBLED/CAM.
Observations:
- SMC_RESET_L - when pulled down - plug goes orange/green and...
