Bush Dled32165HDDVD. Vestel 5 sec shutdown

I'm guessing corrupt firmware but it keeps re booting up, and loses one of the 5v rails after a few seconds , so wondered if anyone has any ideas before I spend the next 6 months looking for a board on eBay

have you thought about a pre programmed chip? maybe from ohm supplies does the set fully start if you freeze the eeprom/flash chip if so you maybe able to reload the data etc.

Reinstall core update a few times will sort issue. 5v shuts down as its controlled by mobo the 12v and 24 run all the time but as the 5v uses Dc-Dc converters the mobo turns them off when in standby.

Yup I froze the chip , no difference. Difficult to reinstall anything Reece as I only have 5 seconds or have I misunderstood you ?

You misunderstood me lol, watch my 17mb82-2 firmware repair video and follow the steps. You only need standby and first stage loader to install core updates.

maybe the new mainboard does not match the lcd panel used in your tv can you get into the service menu im sure you need to look at the lvds settings in the service menu take note of the old setting before you alter anything though.
