Samsung LNT4671FX LCD weird screen glitches

    Hey folks,
Haven't bumped into any problems for awhile, but am having trouble determining where the problem is. The screen, occasionally, tears and jumps. The lines from tearing appear always horizontally. I thought at first it was a tab bond issue, but it doesn't seem like it. It doesn't get better or worse as the set warms up. It seems to be triggered by specific on screen combinations of colors that seem unpredictable. If you rewind to a scene that caused it, it will repeat the error a few times, and then not. So, it seems to be a processing error of some sort. It doesn't seem like a tcon error to me, but it could be. What do you guys think? Main? FRC? Firmware update? Samsung no longer has them up, so I haven't even been able to even try this simple remedy.
    Cheers

Bump. Any ideas? I spent some more time with it, and it seems to glitch mostly on stills, menus, and screens with still camera shots and not a lot of action.

The only thing I can think of is to clean all the ribbon cable edge contacts with alcohol and reseat them into the connectors.Reseat all the cables coming off the mainboard.
Willing to help but I'm no expert.
