I have probably screwed the pooch on this one.
I needed the replacement T-con board for this tv. The board has 46T12-C01 in one place and T460HB01 V0 in another place. So I searched for it and shopjimmy did not have it as well as others. i then searched E-bay and found what i thought was the perfect match. Numbers are exactly the same. However the board I got does not have a ribbon connector that goes to the mainboard. (two on the original) So i started researching this to see if it would work anyway. I found that AUO boards have a sticker with a number also. My original is for the Vizio M3D460SR and it is FX-5546T12C02 the one i got from E-bay (identical in every way just missing the connector for the ribbon cable and the solder pads are there.) number is FX-5547T02C02.
Two questions arise... I cannot find an available exact replacment so,
1. Is the second ribbon cable necessary.
2. can i solder the connector from the old board to this one. ( i have the capability)
the replacement came from a Seiki SE47FY19 TV I didn't notice that when i was purchasing i just saw the matching numbers and that they looked exact, didn't notice the missing jack in the photo.
I will attach photos.
Thanks
