So you indicated that you have all those Voltages with all the connectors in place then we need clarification on what you mean the TV shuts down, the Power LED goes OFF? I do not know if this TV has power LED or not, or the TV is still actually on but the backlights go off.

Well , BUDM is your man for LCD tv's.

I still think it's a mainboard problem. I think some Vestel and LG tv's had the same problem with just showing LG logo on screen. Corrupt software.

Everything is still on the board, nothing out of circuit.
Also I haven't disconnected any connectors either as I'm doing these measurements.
Should I disconnect the LEDs and the main board from the psu when checking these voltages?

How about the DCV on jumper J182 (P-ON+21V)
    J183 (AMP+13V)
    J182 I get 22.65vdc
    J183 I get 13.09vdc.

Right no we need find out if those Voltages on those test points are steady first without the boards connected, then check them again with all the board connected to see which Voltage disappears.

You need to put black and red prope on both legs and other way around. You should get a reading on 1 side and OL on the other side. It can take a reading on both sides but 1 side will go to OL eventually.

TV unplugged. Sometimes they beep, sometimes they don't. Are all of those diodes with the number start with Dxxx?

A diode can give you false readings when they are in circuit. Check the diode with both probes in diode mode on both sides. If it beeps both ways ( also out of circuit ) then its bad. If you get OL + reading then it's ok.

You are not testing them with TV is still plugged into the outlet, right?

The board is still mounted to the chassis? Black probe on the chassis?
OK, you do have Voltage, not 0V as you reported earlier.

You can do the quick DCV test first.
As for component testing I.E. you can test them on board first and see if it shows bad reading then you can lift one leg off the board and then test it again.
You may want to read this thread also:

    OP did not follow through.

Did you also test all those black diodes? I.E. D650 and the rest that have the same big body
I was told about an hour ago that to test any components on a board that they need to be taken off the board.

Ok thanks Moreno. I'll check out the video. I have shorted the flash chip on wireless routers to get them out of a boot loop so I could then perform serial recovery.

I provided a link. You need to find the EEPROM on the mainboard and short pin 5 and 6.

There is information on youtube and on this site also.
I doubt that it will work but that's what you can try!

In my opinion the memory/eeprom on the mainboard is bad and need to be replaced. A new mainboard will get this tv going again.

How do I rest the eeprom?
    Holding ok doesn't do anything.

What happens when you press ok for 3 secs? You could try to reset the EEPROM on the mainboard and see if it's resets or not......

This can be also a memory problem on the mainboard , only fix is to replace the mainboard.

    Hi,
I would like to ask for your help to troubleshoot a faulty PS4 pro power supply
I have a st_by voltage ane when i try to power on 12v line PSU shuts off

i measure lot of components but i don't fins faulty piece ,
when i try to power on 12v line voltage increasing to ~420v so it looks like PFC was working,

Now i have no idea what i can do more to fix it and i will be very helpfully to help me in this case.

Emerson LF501EM5F, turns on, logo appears, shuts off, the perfect storm?
    by DXseekerMO
Earlier this week I got an Emerson LF501EM5F that turns on, the logo comes up, a menu and the channel box come on and it immediately shuts down a split second later.

This was bought new and went in a Laundromat. From there it was on from 7AM to 10PM every day.

So why is this the perfect storm? A month ago I got an Emerson LF501EM4 and an EM4A, both will not turn on. The EM4A was struck by lightning and has a serial of DS1 The EM5F has a serial of DS5. The EM4 has a DS4 serial and the chirping transformer problem with a replaced power supply.

    The info...

(SOLVED) - Emerson lf501em5f - Turns on, shows logo, then shuts off.
    by JDC
Issue: Emerson lf501em5f turns on, shows logo, then briefly shows what input it is on, then goes black.

Solution: Bad LEDs. In my case, there were 2. This repair may not be worth it unless you're doing it for yourself. I'm personally not a fan of Emerson TVs nowadays.

PS4 pro PSU (ADP-300FR) shuts down when turning on 12V
    by Norrecito
    Hello all,

I would like to ask for your help to troubleshoot a faulty PS4 pro power supply (ADP-300FR).

A couple of weeks ago, I've picked up a PS4 Pro (CUH-7216B) from one of the local flee markets. According to the seller, it has a "no power" issue and the PSU is most likely faulty. Based on the cracks on the housing, it was probably dropped.

Tried it at home and sure enough, it had a "no power" issue. (Pressing either the power or eject buttons had no effect).

I took out the PSU and opened it. Immediately noticed...
