Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Take it out of circuit and test it again see if its shorted, then throughly test the others buddy. Normally on sus boards its on transistors that fail.

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
I have measured the transistor and i have only find one faulty,
the one of the right near the ANP-2214-B number D2417
Is it possible that this is the only one that is faulty or could there be more, i tested them all and only this one is shortedLeave a comment:

Nice easy fix thereYou might not need a new board if you know how to change a few IGBTS but up to you.

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Y-drive is shorted then. I'd test across the Y-drive on ohms mode (with it disconnected from the power board) and see what you get to confirm but this seems to indicate that the Y-drive has failed. It's a reasonably common failure (of the few failures this set has.)
Remember to get the 60" board. The 50" board won't work correctly, without significant modifications.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
I measured now on VDC and have following measurements:
- With Ydrive connected 0V
- With Xdrive connected 210V
- With X and ydrive connected 0V
- Vadr 75VDC
Do i need to discharge something to take out the ydrive plate and for measure the transistors ?Last edited by kamei10; 02-15-2016, 12:55 PM.Leave a comment:

You need to use Vdc not Vac mode.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
S/C means short circuit, look up on youtube how to test transistors for short circuit might be worth going over the Ydrive and Xdrive testing the big transistors on them they normally fail first.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
what means S/C , yes multimeter have a diode mode, its a flukeLeave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Ok before you do, do you know how to check for S/C and does your meter have a diode mode ?Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
I tried again and with the ydrive alone connected it stay at 0 VAC,
With the xdrive alone connected 20 - 25VAC
With both disconnected around 20 - 25 VAC
With both connected stay it at 0V
Maybe is my multimeter not fast enough to read as the other person could read 208V on the points, so should the ydrive assy need to be replaced ?
The numbers on the board are:
ANP-2214-B and AWV2541-D-60F
Should these boards works also from a lx5090 as it is only a stamp on the board with 50 or 60 onLast edited by kamei10; 02-14-2016, 05:49 PM.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Ok so with Xdrive it was 0 ? Also plug Ydrive back in and check what it goes too.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Now with both disconnected it doesn't go higher than 20VAC , the same as with both connected but the right power board from the psu where the main voltage is connected to is still making a noise sound when powered up.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Ok what about when Xdrive is unplugged ? Does it rise for a second ?Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
No, i have no Vsus with the ydrive disconnected, there is only one led on the mobo that will flicker the same times than the red led outside on the frontLeave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
Ok so with Ydrive disconnected you dont get any Vsus at all ? Also these sets when they lock out into an error show a red Led on the mobo and when Ydrive is disconnected from the Psu tv flashes 3 Red because it detects Ydrive isnt plugged in.Leave a comment:

Re: Pioneer lx6090 2 x flashing red light at start up
I have tried to mesure the values like on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=43882
I have opened the back and did the mesures but i didn't mesure anything, you can hear some noise from the psu. When i took out the y drive connecter it still the same, no values and the psu make the same noise.
When i put the power on with the y drive disconnected the red flashed 3 times instead of 2 and also the intern red led (i think on the mainbord)Leave a comment:

Normally just a lose connector going to the panel will cause that on the other oneKeep us updated.

by 7onyThe TV is a 2013 Samsung plasma, model # PN60F5300AFXZA.
Snagged it up in non-working condition a couple years ago. Previous owner said that sometimes he could get it to come on after repeated tries but other than that he couldn't get it to turn on.
Personally I haven't been able to get it to turn on at all. The standby light comes on solid when plugged in, but pressing the power button results in the standby light flashing once every 4 or so seconds. No "click" noises, no light from the panel at all. Just the flashing standby light.

by BloopetaHave a Samsung UE43KU6400U that will not turn on, just continuous flashing red standby light.
Power button does nothing
Have unplugged the mainboard, and backlights illuminate.
Have tried removing panel ribbon cables one at a time, and that makes no change.
With mainboard unplugged, all voltages from powerboard seem ok, but with mainboard connected, they never quite reach full voltage, and drop and raise in a constant loop (in time with click noise from mainboard.
Using backlight tester, I get 63.6v on both sides, so seems like no bulbs... -
by fuxxyThis is a set I posted about a few years ago. Replaced LED strips and worked fine until now.
Plug the set in, and it will turn on and functions with no issues.
After a while, (sometimes hours, sometimes minutes, sometimes immediately) the tv shuts off. When I approach the TV I notice the standby light is flashing rapidly, but the pulse of each flash is not long enough to notice from afar.
Other than the standby light, the unit is completely unresponsive until the power is removed and reapplied, then the cycle starts over. It does appear that the time it takes... -
Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power... -
by esqmoooHello everyone.
This is my development machine. I've been using it since two years and half without any problem except sometimes it wouldn't wake up from sleep.
Lately the issue became more frequent and powering it up would take few seconds to show the POST screen.
Then the computer refuses to power on at all. Now only the caps lock button flashes 7 times then stops. The charging light is always on whenever a power source is connected (battery or charger).
I tried long pressing on the power button, after several seconds it would go off then when the button is released... - Loading...
