    Panasonic TH-42PH9UK Power board failure

    Hello,

Yesterday my Panasonic Plasma display TH-42PH9UK died. Wouldn't show any power indication or standby lights.

Found Power board (TNPA3911) has two blown T8HA input fuses. 8A 250V

Also found the following defective components.
    Q406 - Transistor shorted
    R410 - Thermal fuse open
D411 - Diode open each direction

I see many repair kits available that include the fuses & Q406, R410. Problem is I cant find D411. The diode has red markings with T2D66 and I'm not sure how to cross reference.

Does anyone have recommendations on where to obtain a service manual? Most online PDF downloads appear to be malicious.

    Regards
    Bob

    There's a diode--That Doesnt read right--as you would expect--on many Panasonic PSU's...

Its in fact a Diac--which is like two Zeners back to back...

Try just with the other parts--I doubt that diac has suffered...

Ah now that would make sense! I will order the repair kit and hopefully all will be good! I really appreciate the feedback.

      Thank You
