    Panasonic th-42pz81B 7 blinks-sometimes

    Here's possibly an interesting one..
Had this set brought along with (apparently) 7 blinks, however having tested the set it appears to work perfectly,so would seem a intermittent issue.
I have removed the ss board,(tnpa4410),had a study as was expecting dry joints-seems not at a glance.
Anyone had this peculiar issue before?

no not exactly but I think you meant SC board. Have you check the voltage levels that are monitored by the SOS 7 cct? Could they be close to the thresholds?

Reseating all the connections maybe on the SC including the sc20 may be worthwhile.

I have a 42X20 which randomly shutdown on a 7 blink. Nothing failed, boy was on his PS3, it came back on after a reboot never happened again that was weird.
I got a TNPA4782 SC board I repaired, something is amiss with that. Turns on fine but has small amount of maldischarge, if I go into serv tool and hold the return button on the remote forcing the TV to reboot from hot it goes 7 blink. turn off then on and it will turn on no blinks?

None of this helps you except to say strange things go on. Could be nothing wrong and the SOS 7 cct itself maybe the issue?

      Hi

The TV seem to start ( blinking green) but goes into blinking red. No display and or backlight. Full view photo.

      Actions :

      1. Disconnected Panel's Right, 2nd, board : TV comes ON (steady green , no blinking red )
1a. You can see in two photos the B/W screen , fading blue "HDMI12" , and the wierd sides of the image, like an old CRT.
Obviously the fault is from or on the Right, secondary board

      2. I taped the Flex tracks, ~2 tracks at a time- see Photo. The issue seems to be on the V lines (Assuming Data...

      Panasonic Viera LC470EUN (SE)(M2) T-Con issue?
      by Ama Chur
After watching some youtube videos and checking some forums, I'm at a loss. With both ribbon cables connected, we have no image. With the left one pulled out, the screen is black and white, split down the middle. With the right cable removed, it is all black. Backlight is working fine and we have sound and can open applications. We are strapped for money right now and are hoping to repair whatever the issue may be. I think the TV was manufactured in 2012, so I'm aware that may not be possible. Edit: Found a single vertical line of blue pixels on the left side of the screen with one of the ribbon...

      Panasonic TX-P50U30B power issue
      by ag63kry
      Hi
Got my Panasonic plasma tv that stopped working suddenly.
Took out the cover all the leads from the powr baord in the middle apart of the main 220AC. and measured Vsus and 15V DC on P2 and P11 connector. Found nothing. Concluded it is the board
Replaced with a second hand one but still the same issue.
Cannot see the 5V or the 15V on the board with or without all the other leads attached.
Here is an example of what I have measured on P6 connector (see the image).
3V DC on pin 6 (STBby 5V and
      0,3V DC on pin 7 (F_stdby_on)

      No lights on LED,...

Lenovo Chromebook with peculiar keyboard issue
      by trepachka
This chromebook I have exhibits strange behavior that I am unable to figure out. Pressing certain keys on the notebook keyboard, for instance "Control", "t" or "c" by itself will restart the notebook. If I press "2" key, a string of "345789" will show up. I have replaced both the keyboard and the motherboard and the notebook continues to have the same issue. Even with the original motherboard installed, I can attach an external keyboard and it will work just fine but not on the internal keyboard.

What could it be? The storage drive?...
