hi all can anyone shead any light on where I can get the firmware/software for a sharp aquos lc-52dh66e the tv needs a upgrade or the main board any help cheers

Why does it need a update ?
main board bad ?

yes it is the main board if volume down and channel up are held and then turned on the backlights will come on and sound can be heard but no picture if unplugged and plugged back in then the green light turns red and flashs twice searched ebay for hours but no joy I have tried 2 replacement power boards and just does the same I have connected scart to scart on another tv and no picture on that was thinking it needs a software update before I buy a main board

you might try cross referencing your main board.... you might get lucky at some sites that give equivalent components and software... maybe.
