LG 50PC3D Screen Problem "Picture Included"!

Okay so I replaced the Y-sus main, and found 3fets shorted on the lower buffer. Replaced those and hooked everything back up and now I have a color vertical bar that moves across the screen left to right. Any ideas to what's causing this single bar?

Okay I hooked a componet signal to it, and now I've got this image. Could this be a ribbon cable not seated properly on a buffer board?

Looking suspiciously like the "NO SIGNAL" which is yellow and randomly dances around the screen and often it's a bad buffer.

I believe buffers have SMD FETs which fail or go short, check them out, could be

The buffers are connected together. The I replaced all the fets on the lower buffer. The upper buffer tested okay....

Something is still amiss with the fets on the buffers. You getting the same reading on all the MOSFETs of both buffer boards?
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

I will remove the buffers and check the fet readings.

Okay I checked all the fets on the upper and lower buffer. With my meter in diode test mode this is what I got.

                  Upper Buffer Fets Reading

                  Q1 249
                  Q2 247
                  Q3 249

                  Lower Buffer Fets reading

                  Q103 242
                  Q102 241
                  Q101 241

None of them come back shorted. What do I try now guys, could the Y-Sus board cause this problem.

looks like one is leaky--I would expect a much higher reading--around 700 odd (body-diode) if they were OK.
--those mosfets are wired in parallel...

Replace 'em all with new I would.

Okay I replaced the Fets, and nothing really changed. So I ordered and tested the new buffers before I installed them. Nothing changed, so I ordered a Y-Sus board, and now the screen is white, and you can see a flicker of images moving in the background. I'm bout to right this off as a bad panel! What do you all think?

                          Nah--Doubt its the panel.

Check all the various voltages,--but I suspect you bought a dodgy Y-sus board...

I have boards for this set..but I suspect Y-sus has some bad components on it that were damaged by shorted U and L buffers. My set had same malady with moving vertical stripe..I had one of the ribbons to the buffers crack..so panel was toast.

I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

I have an HP model : 14-cf0011nf and I want to change its display screen (it has an original 14" full HD TN 30 pins panel) which works without problem but I want to put another screen with an IPS panel, the problem is that I tried several screens but there is no display except with the original screen, I never had this problem before I changed hundreds without problems but this PC is not 'accepted than its original screen
otherwise on the motherboard it displays edp and I don't know, do the panels I tried only work with the LVDS protocol?

This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...

Just had a customer bring in a M2 MBA A2681 that had had a screen replacement in April at another repairer. Since then, she has been getting intermittent kernel panics. It's an aftermarket screen, and of course it fails in diagnostics as the calibration hasn't been done. The error in the panic log is "No device added after powering on the rails".

It seems the original repairer has swapped the board and the screen to other MAC's, and said that it isn't a screen issue. From what I understand, by doing a quick search on Google, this is in fact a screen issue. The panic relates...
