Vizio P50HDTV10a 10" wide vertical bar
Hello again everybody! I've got a Vizio P50HDTV10a with a vertical bar on the screen. Anybody had this issue before and what would cause this? Power supply, and or main board? I have attached a picture, to see what I've got going on!

Problem solved! Turns out the t-con was getting in a bind while the TV was on the stand. Fixed the flex problem with some leftover thermal tape from and old LG plasma!Leave a comment:

I'm troubleshooting a Samsung UN46EH5300F that plays fine for about 5-10min then starts to ghost and white out. The image seems to freeze as well. Any ideas to what might cause this? Is the t-con or the panel? Any advice or ideas to try on it is appreciated.... -

Okay I replaced the Fets, and nothing really changed. So I ordered and tested the new buffers before I installed them. Nothing changed, so I ordered a Y-Sus board, and now the screen is white, and you can see a flicker of images moving in the background. I'm bout to right this off as a bad panel! Okay I have confirmed the back is working when the image disappears. It slowly starts fading then the image starts to freeze then goes into a hologram look till the picture is totally black. Is there a way to post a video of what it's doing on here?Leave a comment:

I'm working on a Samsung UN60EH6003 that I replaced every board in the unit about a month ago, because the unit would stay on for about 3-4 then blackout. I ran off and on for about 2 days and it worked fine with no problems. I took it over to friends house, he hooked it up and it's back doing the same crap all over again. Comes on for 2-3 min then the screen goes out but still has sound. I tried every input on the unit and it continued to black out with no change. Any ideas to what's causing this? -

Okay I checked all the fets on the upper and lower buffer. With my meter in diode test mode this is what I got.
Upper Buffer Fets Reading
Q1 249
Q2 247
Q3 249
Lower Buffer Fets reading
Q103 242
Q102 241
Q101 241
None of them come back shorted. What do I try now guys, could the Y-Sus board cause this problem.Leave a comment:

The buffers are connected together. The I replaced all the fets on the lower buffer. The upper buffer tested okay....Leave a comment:
