    LG 50LN5600 Light Spots

I have an LG 50LN5600 television that had the two seconds to black issue. The problem was that one of the LED backlight strips shorted. I replaced the offending backlight strip with a used one from ebay. However, I now notice that there appears to be 3 light spots on the screen which appear in the area where I made the replacement. I have attached a photo where it can be clearly seen. The issue is almost invisible when watching the TV. However whenever there is a solid color being displayed (like when first turned on with no source), I can notice these "light spots" on the screen.

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on what I am actually seeing here. At first my thoughts were that it was burn in from previous use, but that does not seem to be the case as I have run the TV for hours with constantly shifting pixels. My other thought that was perhaps the intensity of the replaced LED strips are not matching the rest of the panel which creates the light spot effect. I was also wondering if it may be a light leak from when I reassembled the entire display.

I really do not want to risk opening up this whole panel again if I don't have to. I get nervous with those tab connections when I have to pull of the screen and set it aside. Does anyone here have any ideas as to what I am seeing here and possible ways to mitigate or fix the issue.

Grundig 40VLE7131BF led strips doesn't light up
      by h4rdw4re
      Hi guys,
I have one very old TV.
Main problem I have with this tv is that led strips won't light.
I measured voltage levels, and inverter input is 24V.
      other voltages are also ok.
What I found is that removing and connecting again connector CN1 led strips lights for shorts time (but only once). When led strips lights up then light is uniformly spread on whole panel.
First I thought that led strips are dead, but I'm quite sure that problem is not strips related.
I don't know what voltage level is at output of inverter board (samsung SSL400_3E2A) and how...

      Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

      Samsung Un65ku6300fxza light spots

I have a Samsung 65in 4k tv with 2 light spots that I am wondering if anyone can help me with the cause of them. One has been visible for a while but I just had a 2nd spot start recently. I am thinking some sort of LED or LED lense/reflector issue. They look to light to be pixel problems but I guess that could be it also. Everyone on here has always been great at helping an amateur like me repair tv's so figured I would start here to see if anyone has an idea of what it might be....

Lithonia Lighting versus Light of America Compact Fluorescent product quality
      by sam_sam_sam
I have a Lithonia Lighting 65-Watt Gray Hardwired Compact Fluorescent

I also have back when Light of America had these light bulbs available for yard lights

The issue with Light of America was the blast boards had all most certain board failure while bulbs hardly ever fail

While the Lithonia lighting fixture has all most certain bulb failure

So I have modified the Lithonia lighting fixture to accept the Light of America light bulb and see how long this will last

I have only had this light fixture for not more than a year if it...
