So I picked this TV up in a deal of 5 broken working TVs.<--aka recycling place for 60 dollars for all.
The problem with this TV it would turn on as soon as i plugged it in with black-lights, but no picture.
After playing around I order the main board thinking maybe the eeprom issue. Well got the board yesterday same
issue after digger around some more I found a fuse on the panel was bad. The turning on issue was someone had the ribbon cable to the power button upside down causing the TV to turn on.
I start looking for shorts on that board turns out that the surface mount cap was short causing the fuse to blow. By the way i know My solder job is not that great but works..
I guessed the size of cap off anther board I had for boards and powers up now.
Still learning from this website and glad I can pickup a new hobby!
