Samsung Plasma TV Model: PN64E533D2F No Power

I need to troubleshoot my Plasma TV Model Number PN64E533D2F that wont turn on. I open the back cover and check for fuses diodes etc. I notice that the main fuse closed to the AC input power were blown and check some diodes around the perimeter on the Power suppply Board number BN44-00515A are shorted but I don't know the parts number because I don't have a the service manual. If somebody can guide me on my troubleshooting I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks,

I found the shorted Mosfet QP804 P/N? causing the fuse F801s to blown, but I don't know the parts number. Anybody has a schematic diagram for the parts number for QP804. I would really appreciate it if somebody there can give the parts number. Thanks!

The part numbers listed on the mosfet. Is it the primary mosfet all the way on the left right above the fuse? These power supplies are known for blowing those MOSFETs and then taking the fuse out as well
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Keep in mind I believe there's two of those MOSFETs. The one that shorted is it the one all the way on the left heatsink right above the fuse? If so you want to replace both of those MOSFETs in pairs as one could damage the other

QP804 P/N= K18A60V this is the number on the MOSFET. Is this correct?

Yep that's the one. Replace both. Order two and the main fuse also

I would usually suggest replacing any driver ICs connected to the MOSFET as well.

Hey MobileXT, I'm having the same issue on the same model TV, I wanted to ask you if you ever ended up replacing the MOSFETS, IC, and the Fuse and if that worked for you. I read this thread and I bought the fuse the MOSFETS and the IC between the two MOSFETS but I have yet to replace them.

                              Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                              Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

                              Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                              Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                              LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

                              Hello,

I have re-soldered the loose pins on the RAM slot which is a common fault on these models..

It charges and turns on the power LED but is missing several voltages like RAM and CPU do not come up which I believe is due to MAINON & SUSON being missing to turn these supplies on..

What I am un-sure of is what is the ITC chip waiting for to send out these signals, what are the requirements?
I have checked these lines in diode mode and they seam normal -> 600.

I have checked to see if they come on for even a fraction of a second...
