I think this donor board is a rabbit hole maybe that’s why the previous owner sell it for parts. I knew this board its been repaired before but unsuccessful. I have a working amp board so I will swap it and see what was wrong with the TWamp. I believe this could be another rabbit hole.Last edited by MobileXT; 09-19-2025, 03:06 PM. -

No shorts for Q106 and Q107
Voltage On C184= -81.7v

All the power supply is there I’m guessing is the audio line is broken somewhere. I already replaced the TDA still same problem so is not the TDA. I will double check again all the power supply on the T-AMP....Leave a comment:

No short to C137 and C138 same reading on the working amp also Q106 and Q107 same reading on the working board also same on all reading on all PIN on IC101 same as the working amp.. Where the -55V and +55V generate? is this from the T102? and the T102 controlled by IC101?Leave a comment:

Another updates: I received my complete donor for DXR15 amp so I removed the tweeter amp and replaced my old one and now everything is working now two speakers back to life. So Now I like try to fix the donor amp that the problem was not turning on. No green lights missing the -55V and +55V. Also want to fix the tweeter amp. But I like try to fix the AMP board first then the tweeter amp.Leave a comment:

I think I found the Problem on the RA711 Pin7 3v3 PIN 8 3V, PIN5 3V3 PIN6 3V, PIN3 3v3 PIN4 0V, PIN1 3v3 PIN2 0v. Where I can get this array resistors I try google I can't find anything mouser & digit key the parts number is WH211800.Leave a comment:

The most common problems on these machines are those underlying glue. Make sure you clean up everything on those caps and pull up resistors around the nand chip make sure nothing’s left. Otherwise you will have the same error on the Apple Configurator.Leave a comment:

Thanks madan1 I will look into that one but for sure I didn’t touch the sw-701 before but it’s good to know maybe I can turn on turn off the switch 701 maybe some bad connection there. Thanks for confirming the DSP board swap from Dxr8,10 or 12 to dxr15 that will work I don’t have the parts right now but definitely I will look forward on this options and I saw some parts online for the dxr series for parts.Leave a comment:

I am also planning to swap the DSP from the DXR10 to DXR15 since the DSP have all the switch to specific switch to every model. IF I swap the DSP from the DXR10 and turn-on the switch from DRX10 to DXR15 model. What yo guys think?Leave a comment:

I know this is not make sense to me either. I was planning that too jumper from the LF I plan to removed the IC724 and run a jumper. Yes! you can replace the IC702 without programming because I did that with my other speakers and working good so far and everything working HF, LF and D-contour. The IC701 is the one controlling all the programing into this DSP. So I am guessing that the IC701 is also defective but this one need to re-program for sure. Updates: I replaced the the DSP IC702 from mouser.com and still have the same problems. Still no audio going out to the HF. So the problem is not the DSP IC it could be on the input but I do have output for the LF. Is not the Amp board because I installed the brand new one. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.Leave a comment:

I check the Audio output at IC724 at Pin 1 and Pin 7 and I don't get any audio output. I did also replaced the IC724 and still have the same problem no audio output. The power supply is okay I have +15v at Pin 8 and -14.84v at PIN 4 Look Like DSP IC702 is no audio output at PIN 34,33 & 35 ,36 . I do have audio output @ PIN 29,30 & 31,32 which is the LF output.Leave a comment:

That's what I thought it could be mute somewhere so I am looking at Q256 and Q257 as well as the IC724.I am still waiting for my oscilloscope. I already did replaced the TDA8922 that from China it could be faulty that's why have the same problem no audio output....Leave a comment:

I have a shorted on the IC713 and IC715 both on PIN 6 & 7 so I ordered the parts from Mouser NJM2068M-D hopefully will get here by next week. Once I get the parts I will update you guys....Leave a comment:

Thanks CapLeaker! You think TDA AMP chip is Okay to solder it back now?. I ordered a new one should be here now in a couple of days. I have two speakers have the same issue. I might open it up the other speaker check for the legs on the TDA8922CTH legs for cold solder joints.Leave a comment:
