Hitachi 32hxc01u dead mainboard

Hi all hope someone has one

i have an Hitachi 32HXC01U boards are vestel rubbish the fault is no led at all all voltages are correct and has been tested with another mainboard 17MB82-2
so im kinda hopeing someone has a 17mb82-2 23133910 board for sale or trade
i dont really want to use EMO's to dear £36 and had duff stuff off them before

Ahh more Vestel shit lol. Have you checked the MLCC's for S/C Gary common fault on these which will cause no standby failure ?

No worries to test, put one of your probes on to ground (I use the Vga socket) and see if that cap is shorted to ground. Only on side of the cap should show shorted to ground if both do you have an issue some where.

Hi Reecey i have tested most of them on diode mode i assume is correct and theres one nearest to the main input socket that appears to be O/C could this be the fault or am i testing them wrong?

its just above what looks like pins 1&2 below two silver pads in pic showing board

O/C normally these will only fail S/C did you check it using the method I said buddy ?

im not sure but i have found a black coloured one just below the CI socket at the top has the same reading both side and s/c across gonna swap it out located near q49 placing which is empty

Thats not a cap, thats a resistor buddy so probably will be low enough to fool you meter as it being shorted.
The next step would be to hook the board up and start taking some voltage readings across the board.

Haha no worries pain to trouble shoot, im currently repairing a 17mb35-4. So far I have checked all the 6.3v MLCCs out of circuit (over 15) replaced the Hdmi Ic (Lots of pins to solder) and still it refuses to work lol and im about to toss it out the window haha. Make sure you match the board exact as they are tied to the panel number.

i might even have one here i will have a look in the morning
well i normally like to fiddle first then order one lol
they are never the same, bits missing, bits added so many different screens and boards for the same model of tv, what a load of shite they are!
i have noticed lately bush and alba have changed to sieki boards which are just as bad lolol
im aware of the number on the label i screwed up the first time i ordered a board years ago !

Haha cheers I put that one aside for the min. I hate these boards that tie software to the panels its just a pain but Vestel use so many panels though so see why. Alba, Bush and Seki use Umc chassis's they are on par with Vestel tbh just as shit. Let us know what happens buddy

Hi Reecey im not sure what happened but while i replaced and checked that resistor last night which made no difference i thought i would heat up various components with my reflow station and i then left until today...... plugged it in to go through voltages again and the led started flashing and the screen lit up i first thought i picked up the wrong board but no...... its now working and has been on all day, i just dont understand it as the previous owner said it was on and she unplugged it to do the hoovering plugged it back in and it was dead ???
so i thought it was something taken out to a power surge or something, but anyhow its working thanks for your guidence

Hmm possibly needs a reflow then or a device is becoming heat sensitive. Haha strange let us know if it messes up again buddy
