pin 1 thru whatever on one line all odd pin2 thru whatever all even in straight line look on the board tey are marked pin 1 and the last odd pin 2 last odd.

3,4,5,6,on top row from the right(on the board) go to the tcon fuse, but if i go on the tcon fuse i cannot find the circut on te board feeding it (tr219 220 PIN 6,8,10,12

What ever the pins on the connector go to the fuse on the T-CON, they will be the power pins (I do not have to the board to verify which pins are the power pins so I am counting on you to locate the correct power pins), once you know which pins are the power pins then it is just the matter of spending the times to see where the traces go to, it should ending up at the pin (<1 Ohms) of the MOSFET some where on the main board.

Is there any good tutorials that you could point me in the direction of I appreciate all the help you guys have given me and I have identified the problem now I need to find y and I'd like to get into component level repair

At this point it is a matter of finding the connection to that switching device, one we find that we test the Voltages to see what is not correct and what it should be which will require to know how the MOSFET function.

i am in school for mechatronics technology and we touched on them and fets and jfets and n channel and p channel and some othere stuff i aint going to lie its a bit confusing but i want to learn i know some of the terms and understand the function but am still kinda lost to say the least i know they are switching devices with gain stuff but thats about it

i have traced the fuse on the tcon board to the mainboard but not to any odvious ic i have traced it to the places circled on the pictures and have tried tracing those points back but am having no luck am at a loss as what my next step should be

ended up replacing main board and tv works fantastic i am keeping this one as it was the first tv i dug out of dumpster and started my interest in vixing these
