ok look on the main board the one with antenna connector, hdmi etc. do you see f1 and f2 these are fuses see if they have 12v each side or cont. either may be open. check them the 12 v line is working. you need to make sure the fuse is not open as vinceroger69 suggested

ok we were posting at the same time do you have 12v on both sides of the fuse. its not going thru the main to tcon.

There should be a switched power MOSFET close to the LVDS connector that goes to the T-CON board, that MOSFET is turned on by the command ON signal from the processor.
So we need to locate that MOSFET on the main board.

so does the motherboard supply the voltage to the tcon or does it come through the motherboard from the powersupply becasue there are a few of the wires coming out of the powersuppy like wires 1-4 on the small plug that neither have voltage or ground on them

yes both fuses on main board have voltage one has 5 other has 12

do you see the connector going to the tcon from the motherboard? there is a mosfet closeby, see budm's last post. there is a mosfet close to that connector on the motherboard. if the mosfet is not being turned on you wont get the voltage from the motherboard to the tcon. the powersupply makes the voltage the main board directs it.

That will not be it, one of the pin will have 12vdc on it, it will 8-pin type.
That is regulator IC 1.25Vref + 1.38V on the ADJ pin 1 = 2.63VDC on output pin 2 (middle pin, or top tab), pin 3 is the input pin.

i checked all of them and i did not have 12 on any of them unless they are on one of the ones that have more than one in them....orwill it be a single one

itake that back u11 has 12v on gate middle is 0 and source is 5 it is labled in gnd out and there is 0 on drain (backside)this was only one i found 12von

if the pic in his first post is his tv then it is the 3637-0502-0150 board the numbers are there.

oh it is u21 right next to f2 fuse which is the 12v fuse it has 12 both source and 0 on gates and drains are 12

If that is the one then it should have low resistance between the fuse on the T-CON board and the pin/s of that U21.
So far it looks like pin 6, 8, and 10 of that white LVDS connector are the power pins.

all i am getting between fuse on tcon board and the drain side of mofset is a flash of resistance also to note i am getting a flash of resistance to ground

TV is not plugged in, right?
To find that switched MOSFET you need to find that <1 Ohms resistance between the fuse on the T-CON and that switched device.
Do you get <1 Ohms between the T-CON fuse and the pin 6, 8, 10 of the LVDS connector on the main board?
