It does not look like it got that hot. At this point I would replace it since the read is way off compared to the other three readings.

It looks to be the same, I hope they are not faked. You can try and see what happen, only $12 worth any way.

Seller has over 100,000 feedback 99.6% positive so I think its worth the risk.

Also I'd like to thank both budm and CapLeaker both for the help, insight and advice! This looks to be my new favorite hobby that is both fun and rewarding. If I can also make a little extra money while having fun that's a bonus!

BTW: this is the pinout and the DCR of the winding. 1K on the secondary side.

budm you were right about the TI801 getting hot.

after removing TI802, discoloration on the board where TI801 goes is evident.

Once you install the new transformers make sure to do the temperature checking to see if one is hotter than the other, that may indicate the lamps are bad and drawing too much current but not quite enough to trip the protection circuits.

Received the transformers today.

TV is working great now.

Will let it run for a while and check the transformer temps with a IR Thermometer see if one is hotter than the other.

Usually when I look for items on ebay I filter by distance and try find a supplier within 100-200 miles. The transformers came from San Diego, I'm near Long Beach so not very far at all.
