Samsung un60es7500 clicks 2 times blinks 10 times repeats

Hello experienced badcaps users, I have an issue with this tv that I just can't seem to figure out.

I purchased this tv busted. It is an absolutely beautiful tv and I couldn't pass up the opportunity of having it as the centerpiece of my livingroom. I've gotten tired of my 60" DLP. The folks I bought it from said it wouldn't turn on, and that it had been serviced before. They didn't want to sink more $$ into it, so they decided to sell it. They had both the main board and power board replaced as well as the power wire harness with the revised black one mentioned in another post about this model. I have already ordered and swapped both the power board and the main board with absolutely no change in this tv's behavior. When I plug the tv in, I hear the power board click on pause a second or two, then click off and i see the green LED on the top of the tv next to its webcam blink 10 times in 5 groups of 2 blinks. This repeats for as long as I have the tv plugged in and then continues until the capacitors drain. I couldn't spot anything out of the ordinary on either of the boards. I really need some advice on what to look at next.

    Model number UN60ES7500F
    Model code UN60ES7500FXZA
    Version number HS01

Pics of the rear cover removed and of individual boards may strike more responses from us to help you.

Unless you've received bad boards there is a pretty good likelihood that you have bad leds in your backlight.

I'll get some pictures up later today when I get home from work. I'm really going to hope the LED strips aren't bad. I know how much of a hassle it can be to find some replacements.

I just got a chance to tear the tv apart and I don't see any off-color LEDs. Here are pics of the boards. I also took a pic of the T-con board.

You misunderstand. The LED backlight system is BEHIND the lcd screen itself - you will not see it from the back or front without removing the lcd screen itself.

You likely have one or more leds gone open circuit and preventing the set from starting up normally.

Thanks for the reply mmartell. I did remove the LCD panel, and I looked closely up and down both LED strips, but didn't see any that had the brownish tinge they usually get when they go bad. I'll have to test them today with a meter when I get home. What am I looking for when I test the LED's? I just attached those pictures for Andrew in hopes someone might see something I didn't on the boards.

Put your meter in diode mode and test each individually. If there are no test points you may have to scrape away some of the solder mask on either side.

I just tested each LED in both strips and they all test at about 730-735 in diode mode.

So they all lit ? How do all the connectors look at the strips, all seated properly ?

You are reading the anti parallel diode that is connected in parallel with the LED to protect the LED. The Vf of the LED is in the 3 range, some meter may not have enough Voltage to test White LED. You need to reverse the probe, the RED has to be on the Anode of the LED and the Black is on the Cathode of the LED.

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)
                        by Nairolf
                        Hello,

                        I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
                        1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                        2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                        3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung UE75TU7020k No picture, Standby blinks 2 times
                        by brithepi2k
My Samsung UE75TU7020k lights up fine when one of the ribbon cables are disconnected from the main board, lights stay on but not getting half a picture, I do the same with the other ribbon and put the other one in and lights stay on but not getting half a picture. The standby light flashes 2 times then reboots then it then tries to come back on again and just keeps looping until I take either one of the ribbon tables out (doesn’t matter which one I take out it stays lit when either one is out). I’ve tested the backlights but all working with none shorting out, I’ve replaced the main board...

Samsung UN70NU6900FXZA - Red Light Blinks 2 Times Then Screen Flickers
                        by Samunggg
I've happened upon this TV, it came with no power cord or remote and it seems to be experiencing a common issue where the red indicator light blinks 2 times then the screen flickers as if it's trying to turn on. No picture, no sound. I suspect the functions of the TV are in good order and that the underlying issue is with the power button which is missing. It's just a white tab where the button should be which means I can't cycle it.

I wanted to know if there is anything I can do or if I should just get a replacement module with the hopes it will fix the system. Alternatively if...

XR-77A80K Dead set, red light blinks 8 times. Cannot find error code list.
                        by mecha1166
I have a XR-77A80K here. When plug in & press power, white lindicator light flashes on & off. about 30 seconds later, indicator light flashes 8x red. Checked Sony, Power reset = unplug & plug in. Factory reset involves turning it on, then pressing remote buttons when a picture shows. Well, neither of these "resets" are for a dead set like this. Anyone know what 8 blinks indicates, from the schematic? Thanks!

Sony KDL-52Z5100 power relay clicks 4 times then standby blinks 10 times
                        by Mcologist
                        Hello,

Troubleshooting a Sony KDL-52Z5100 and when you plug it in the power relay clicks on and off 4 times and then stays off and the standby light blinks in groups of 10 repeatedly.

I checked the standby voltage going to the main board and it stays consistent at 3.3v the whole time.
The other voltages coming from the main power board all match their written values.
The "power on" connection coming from the main board to the power board changes between 3.3v and 0v while the relay is clicking.

The issue also occurs when only...
