    Seiki SC392TS Won't turn on.

My Seiki SC392TS won't turn on. I already replaced the EEPROM IC but that did not make a difference. I am not getting any light on the front and I guess if I was the EEPROM would have fixed it. So when I press the power button there is no response at the wire connector, no power change. When I manually turn the PS on it does turn on and my voltages are good. So I know the problem is in the main board. The voltage regulators seem to be good but some of them are not being powered. I have to figure out how to test them when they are off.

My next step is to start checking capacitors on the main board and replace them. Not sure what else could be wrong at this time.

I also can not find a service manual for this TV.

If anyone has some input I will appreciate it. Lets see if changing the caps fixes it.

Can you take a pictures of the psu and rest of the tv I repaired one of the same model there was a partially shorted diode on the psu that was dragging the whole tv down.

Here are some pictures. The power supply seems to be working perfect. All the voltages are there when I manually turn it on. The Main board is not sending the signal to the PS for it to turn on. I have checked all the caps on the main board, found 1 that was weak so I replaced it but it did not make a difference.

Oh yea, Got it from Shop Jimmy. (( http://www.ebay.com/itm/360954544640 )) But what I read online is the power indicator LED on the front of the TV is always lit. Mine does not light at all. $50.00 for a used main board but I will try to fix this one first. I will have to follow the power to see where it stops I guess unless someone has a good way of testing the main board.

I'm trying to fix this TV for someone. They'd like to get it fix as cheap as possible. I have the same issue. I have troubleshoot it down to the main board. Did you ever figured out the issue with this board? I've found a very similar board used in an Element ELDFW464. It also has the same 27H1365A number as well. Could I possibly use the element board and swap out just the eeprom from the Seiki?

Hi guys, I’m back here my friend give me her tv, that doesn’t turn on and no standby red led. When u plug in the cord the red led of one two second is on, then turn off. If you push the power button or the remote the red led blinks but nothing happen. I give u some photo with voltage, don’t look the fuse….because I blow it for mistake nd I dint have the right replace so I just put it for test the tv. The standby voltage should be 11,88 volt on the diode, but I have 13 volts. I put in the photo the different volts I test and there are someone negative…I don’t know if it s normal. On...

So I got this TV with not turning on symptom.
Using my backlight tester I confirmed that LED backlight is fine. Ordered a replacement main board TP.MS3393.PB851. With this replacement board TV turned on but original remote control will not work on a TV and side buttons are mixed up(for example if I press "Source" TV will increase volume).
So I swapped Eeproms and confirmed that it is a problem on my original main board, meaning with my original main board and an Eeprom from replacement board I got TV to turn on with not working remote and mixed up side buttons and the replacement...

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
              by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

              by Dani_2024
Hi and thanks in advance for any input you might provide!
I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.
Main power board model: TP.MS3683.PC821 T-Con board: N4TP546UHDPU2L_BO

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

              93C46 and 93C56 EEPROM
              by SidneyCanadas
I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

              https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...c6e42b20d3.pdf 2

Anyone know if the Camry one will work on my Corolla?. And which EEPROM reader/writers do you all recommend I purchase that will allow me to read the old values of the old...
