Re: Vizio E550i-B2E does not power on, power LED fades out
I recently came into possession of the same model TV with similar issue. After turning on it then turns off seconds later with power LED fading out. I opened and inspected the boards for cracked solder joints but found none. I've also re soldered the connection between power supply and LED driver board for good measure but made no difference. I believe something else is going on.

Re: Has anyone ever repaired a bad panel driver?
I know it's unlikely for both panel driver boards to go bad so im thinking components that is not common with the other. The pictures are of two ic I found on the right driver that's not on the left. I am unable to find datasheet for these ics....

Re: Has anyone ever repaired a bad panel driver?
I'm really leaning toward a bad panel. I have tested with two different main boards and two different t-con boards and have the same results. I will upload pics of the panel driver boards if anyone want chime in on where possible problems could be.

Re: Has anyone ever repaired a bad panel driver?
Notice that big heat sink and thought about that too. I may reflow or try a reball if I have the stencil. Funny thing is I bought a mainboard off ebay and had the same issue. I know the board I bought could be bad though....Last edited by johniwad; 03-04-2018, 10:35 AM.

Has anyone ever repaired a bad panel driver?
Just curious to know if anyone has ever repaired an LCD panel driver board. I believe I have a bad panel as I've replace everything else in the TV. TV has sound and back light but screen stays black. Tabbing on panel looks good too. I'm thinking possibly bad components on LCD panel driver board. Can't find schematics or even a general breakdown of how the driver board works. Does anyone know what usually goes bad on the panel driver board?Last edited by johniwad; 03-02-2018, 01:16 PM.

Re: Samsung UN40J6300AFXZA Main Board Repair
I seem to have all the proper voltages and I did check LVDS with my oscilloscope and there is no signals from main board to T-Con. I was thinking maybe the SDP1415 SOC may have a few balls that has lifted or is partially faulty.

Samsung UN40J6300AFXZA Main Board Repair
I know this Samsung UN40J6300AFXZA BN94-08247E main board is bad. Screen is black with sound and back lights but no picture. I replaced the T-Con board with no change. I cannot find schematics for this board. Bought a similar main board for a different Samsung TV thinking I could just swap out the flash/eeprom chips. I swapped eeprom chip but replacement board show no signs of life. Should I swap out eemc chip or could the problem be in the SDP1415 SOC? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
Original Board: BN94-08247E
Code: BN41 -02353A
Mode: BN41 - 02353

Re: Samsung UN50H6350AF no video
I believe I have a Samsung TV with the same issue. As a last ditch effort attempt I've ordered the main board. I'm curious to know if anyone has ever found and fixed a short on an LCD panel circuit board.

Re: Funai LF320FX4F Power Supply Issue?
Just wanted to touch base on my findings about this TV. I finally got it working. It ended up being one LED being out. I couldn't tell because I was too lazy to tear TV apart. Even though I tricked the back lights in turning on there was still one bad LED keeping it from turning on. The only problem with this TV now is that with input menu pulled up it shows all inputs as being HDMI 1. Even though all inputs show up as being HDMI 1 they still work. I'm thinking this has to do with the eeprom. Does anyone have the eeprom dump for this TV?

Re: Funai LF320FX4F Power Supply Issue?
Checked all diodes on top side of board by removing one lead to make sure. All top side diodes are good. There are a few SMD diodes on underside of the board that are questionable but that maybe due to the fact they where tested in circuit. With or without main board connected I get no 21V. Also no low resistance between 21V and GND. Maybe one or more SMD diodes are bad or something is breaking down under load.

Re: Funai LF320FX4F Power Supply Issue?
I jumped the power on with a resistor. Here's what I'm getting:
1.9v on 3.3v
2.8v on 13v
0.5v on 21v on one side of the board and negative volts on opposite side
I'm thinking there is a problem on the 21v line. I also notices a high pitch sound I believe is coming from the transformer.
