Sony Bravia KLV-32v550A Blinks 8 Times

Hi all
I have sony bravia KLV-32V550A, tv powers on and works sometimes for few minutes and sometimes goes to standby as soon as we turn it on and and make weard sounds from speakers before turning off and red light blinks 8 times, i also check self test mode by pressing display > 5 > vol - > power and appart from 8 blink error it also showing 10 blinks error (2 Times)

Any help will really be appreciated.

DCV at the speaker output, there is protection circuit that monitor to see if there is DC present at the speaker connectors (the one with RED/BLACK/BLACK/WHITE) due to bad Class D power amp module.
See if the IC gets hot or try cooling it, SONY should have installed heatsink for that IC.

how to bypass protection?? ic is getting warm not hot seems normal, please help, should i remove the ic?? actually according to service manual there are 3 ics belonging to sound section so which one should i remove??

Well, did check to see if there is DC Voltages at the output to the speakers first to see if it is due to DC offset that causes the protection circuit to kick in, you can also look at the diagram ans see the detection that detect the DCV at the output of the Class D amplifiers.

i have tested with volume "0" its showing DC 0.57 volts on right speaker and 1.25 volts on left speaker, now after few minutes of continuous operation i noticed ic is getting hot also speaker magnets are warm.

Well that tells you you have bad Class d POWER amplifier IC. I willl not keep powering the TV unless you want to burn out the speakers.

You keep asking the same question when you have the service manual in front of you.
Did you not looking at it to see how it is wired up? or you do not know how to read the schematic? if not why not just say so and then upload the service manual for us to study the circuits.
Do you want us to do all the work for you without you trying?

That service manual does not have any schematic.
There are 7 download but I have no idea which one has the schematic diagrams.

Without that it will be almost impossible to disable the protection circuits.
I down load two of them but either one has the diagrams.

i have checked all mentioned manuals and only s series and t series have schematic, but they have very different BA Board.

It probably will but you should look at the P/N of that IC to get the spec sheet,the IC may be combo audio processor/power amplifier, if that the case then you will not have any sound if you remove the IC.
Too bad we cannot find the diagram for the board.

I have removed Class D amplifier IC (TAS5602) Its still same tv goes to standby within 5 seconds and 8 Blinks.
What else can i try??

I found service manual of same BA board
Now can you please help me bypass the detection..

I just noticed while removing IC TAS5602 i also by mistake removed and lost DIOD D7204

Are you sure the board for the 5500 is the same as 550?
See the attached pdf, as you can see, there are four speaker detection lines:
SPDET_RP- SPEAKER DETECT RIGHT POSITIVE
SPDET_RN- SPEAKER DETECT RIGHT NEGATIVE
SPDET_LP- SPEAKER DETECT LEFT POSITIVE
SPDET_LN- SPEAKER DETECT LEFT NEGATIVE

All four of those signals are fed to pin 61~64 of the IC7301 (CXA3785R-T6 which looks to be the audio processor.
There looks to be two error outputs:
pin 43 is the X PROTECTION: LO = ERROR, HIGH = NORMAL, this is an OUTPUT pin.
pin 44 is the VFAULT: LO = NORMAL, HIGH = ERROR, this is an INPUT pin. This signal is generated by the IC7201 (TAS5602) pin 19.

So you need to see what you have at those two pins, for them to be normal they should match what are shown above.
BTW, the diagram is not very easy to read.

Yes i'm sure its same BA Board as of 550A
as i have already removed IC7201 there is no signal at pin 44,
do i need to solder Diod - D7204 which was removed by mistake and misplaced?
so should i remove IC7301 (CXA3785R-T6 ic) also? will doing so bypass the protection??
