maybe not as the resitors are ok wait for hamie to see youre above picture as he may get you to run some voltage tests next.

No the FET is probably OK.
I'm not convinced yet you have a problem with the power supply.

Disconnect everything from the power supply. Remove the wire that connects the power supply to mainboard (remove the wire from the mainboard end)

And with a piece of wire connect stby and RL-On together. Like the photo below.

Plug in the tv, the power supply should now turn on and give vs and va voltages.

Does it?

How can it be a Oc or Sc failed part if its intermittent though ? Maybe tun the test patterns ?

ive just read post 1 again i had missed the part he had said with the new ysus the set turned on once.

Same results.... only now, problem seems to have gotten worse. I'm getting much the same results on Y-SUS out... No voltages at all, when trying using the mainboard to power on, and also using the stby and RL-On shorted....

The strange bit is I'm getting sound on the HDMI in still..... btw, not sure if this is relevant, when set powers up, the power LED goes from red to UNLIT.... although it responds with a red light when front panel button press (e.g. vol up, down etc.)

Has anyone else had this with this particular set?

Right....

After thorough testing.... All voltages are OK except for the ones marked VS.. It seems to go from 195 to -1....

posted pic.... ignore last post... my daughter was bothering me and I was getting extremely confused (she talks at 3x speed)...

does this help anyone, help me?

Hi all,

i have a big problem with my 60PK250


The firmware upgrade did not work and now the TV no longer works.
I tried to force a firmware through serial port (from usb can not be that nothing goes) ... but I get a "Bad magic number" error.

On some forums I have read about people who have solved by installing via serial port a full backup of another equal TV (which is downloaded by serial).

Does anyone who has a tv like mine would be so kind to link a backup?

Over here the 50" board can run the 60" model too. Got any images of your board? Do yo know which chip this data is stored on? Can you order just the chip pre-loaded from LG which I know you can for Panasonics?
