    Panasonic 50" Plasma A Board

Thanks to help from posts and attachments on this site, I just got a replacement A board TNPH06921A for my TH-50PX75U and voila I have a picture!!!

However it only fills part of the screen, about 41" diagonally to be precise.

I think this board is also used in 42" plasma tv TH-42PX75U. What do I need to do get the full picture?

ps. The board p/n is exact match for what came out of my set.

what revision did you get? TNPH0692 will be the PCB , 1A is not relevant but there should be a revision suffix usually 2 letters which is important to match the correct board for the size of the panel. Does sound like you got a board for a different model.

Have a look here for the different versions that apply t each panel variant

My old PCB was Suffix "AC".

The new board is "AB". Does this mean the new board is not compatible with my 50" TV or is there a fix?

Where can I get the right board TNPH0692 Suffic AC.

Also, what to do with TNPH0692, Suffix AB?

well if you're stuck with the board and can't return or locate AC the only suggestion I have would involve eeprom swapping. What you'd have to do is get the serv manual for both then compare the eeprom numbers used in each. find the ones that differ and swap them from you're old board to the new one and hope that sorts it. It should as the only difference is the data loaded on these. You won't have to do all but I'd expect 1 -2 chips will be different without looking at it.

Unfortunately, the only fix is the correct suffix.

You'll have to keep looking. Ebay, ShopJimmy, Google. You can try to send the suffix AB board back to where you got it.

If it's only A board been changed these are what to compare to the 42

this is what should be on the Ac version. Find the difference and swap those, the numbers are what are important.

                by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                Assuming...

                Hi everyone!
I happened several times, in the search for help from the web, to consult this very interesting forum.

Having said that I come to the gist of my post on the forum as the title suggests.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Panasonic switching power supply daughter board has two 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors which I do not keep in stock
                by sam_sam_sam
I did not have any 27uf @ 50 volt capacitors but one nice thing is that it has enough room for two capacitors in parallel a 22uf and a 4.7uf @ 50 volts 22 plus 4.7 equals 26.7uf which so very close to 27uf I will show some pictures of it sometime tomorrow

This is one of the shit est boards I seen in a very long time and it was the daughter board the traces just lifting off the board I had to use the capacitor leads to repair the the traces and the main board is not any better because I had to repair several traces for the daughter board to the main board

Panasonic TC-P54VT25 No image. A or D board?
                by canadaboy25
I have a Panasonic TC-P54VT25 that will power on and prime the display but there is no image at all.

The panel is primed as there is a slight glow from the entire panel. This means the problem should be logic related. The service manual also confirms this and recommends replacing the A or the D board.

I have tried to get the TV to display the test sequence but I have been unable to and I don't even know if this TV has a test sequence or not. I tried following tom66's instructions in post #3 on this thread https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=26790. There was...
