Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
If that cable is removed then there will be no power and signals to run the T-CON board = no pictures on the screen. All you will see is the glowing screen.
What do you get when that cable is connected? How about the SMD fuse on that T-CON board and the DCV at both ends of the fuse with ref to the chassis?Never stop learning

Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
I have tried it with the ribbon in still get the same results only put a white screen when av board is not plugged in from power boardComment

Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
"I have tried it with the ribbon in still get the same results" what does that means? Backligts still on but black screen or backlights are on but gray glowing screen?
Well, did you check the SMD fuse and the Voltage on the SMD fuse of the T-CON board? Do you also still get backlights when all the cables are back in place?Last edited by budm; 07-07-2015, 03:42 PM.Never stop learning

Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
So did you try only AV board connected?
Some LCDs go white with no power - others go black. Black is most common. ("Normally Off")Please do not PM me with questions! Questions via PM will not be answered. Post on the forums instead!

Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
There is 5.12 volts going to the t con fuse its like the av board is putting to much power back to the power board and turning it offComment

Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
Main board does not do any thing to put the power back to the power supply, it sends out on command signals to turn on the power supply board and the inverter circuits. If the mainboard is drawing too much power from the power supply then it can cause the power supply to go into shutdown.
So one thing is not really clear to me is that IF there is no cable between the main board and the T-CON board, the TV will turn on and stay on and with glowing screen, but if the cable is connected then the TV will turn off?
"There is 5.12 volts going to the t con fuse" 5V is the correct Voltage for running the T-CON board, you get that Voltage on both ends of the fuse, right?Never stop learning

Re: Samsung ue19d4003 wont turn on
So you have problem on the main board if that is the symptom.
It is 19" so I reaalu do not know how much money you will be willing to spend to get it repair, also you should read the LCD TV basic troubleshooting guide to understand more about what it takes for the TV to function. Ntes: Your TV uses power supply/LED driver combo board, there is no high Voltage inverter circuit.Last edited by budm; 07-08-2015, 03:01 PM.Never stop learning

by ohrenI hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.
I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.
The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively.... -

by NicktronicHey everyone,
This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

by valvashonSamsung UN65KU6290F (May 2017); received from local Buy Nothing group. Was listed as "just went dead" and they wanted it gone. I brought it home, didn't notice anything visually wrong with the power supply board, looked up the cost of a new one and that's about as far as it went. Family was tired of tripping on the foot of the set so I decided to dig in and repair or toss.
Can't believe that I didn't check it earlier but I found the main 8 amp fuse blown. Jumped across it with a 10 amp blade style fuse and you can see that it literally exploded inside the second I plugged...4 Photos - Loading...
