    Samsung UN40B6000vf /xza clicking noises

I have a Samsung UN40B6000vf /xza that makes clicking noises sounds like a relay. Shows no power like it clicks on then clicks right back off. When I unplug connector CNM802 that goes to the AV board it will power on then the LED lights up bright white.
I checked voltages on that connector and got

    Pins
    2 1vdc 1 0vdc
    4 5vdc 3 0
    6 0 5 0
    8 0 7 13vdc
    10 13vdc 9 0
    12 0 11 0
    14 5 vdc 13 5 vdc
    16 5 vdc 15 5vdc
    18 0 17 0
    20 13vdc 19 0
    22 13 vdc 21 13vdc
    24 3 vdc 23 0
    26 4 vdc 25 0
    28 4 vdc 27 0
    30 0 29 0

Looking at the power supply board PSLF171B01A are in question
    Pins
8 Vamp 12.8 is showing none
    10 GND_5.3 is showing 13VDC
    12GND_5.3 is showing none
    18GND_12v is showing none
    19 12v is showing none

Any guidance or help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    Jason

Re: Samsung UN40B6000vf /xza clicking noises

    What do all these mean?
    for example: 10 GND_5.3 is showing 13VDC?
    Same for all these readings
    "Pins
    2 1vdc 1 0vdc
    4 5vdc 3 0
    6 0 5 0
    8 0 7 13vdc
    10 13vdc 9 0
    12 0 11 0
    14 5 vdc 13 5 vdc
    16 5 vdc 15 5vdc
    18 0 17 0
    20 13vdc 19 0
    22 13 vdc 21 13vdc
    24 3 vdc 23 0
    26 4 vdc 25 0
    28 4 vdc 27 0
    30 0 29 0
    "
    what are these for examples:
    28 4 vdc 27 0
    30 0 29 0

    No pin names?
What do you use for ground ref for the meter? Also check your meter's batteries.
How about showng us good clear pictures of the whole back side of the TV so we can see how all the boards are connected together?

Re: Samsung UN40B6000vf /xza clicking noises

I tried to lay them out but I guess it didn't format right Connector CNM802 has 30 pins 2 rows of 15. The even numbers wer on the left with odd pin numbers and voltages on right. Pictures coming shortly.

      What do all these mean?
      for example: 10 GND_5.3 is showing 13VDC?

On the power supply board the pin numbers have info next to them The above example is pin 10 (printed next to pin 10 it says GND_5.3) it was showing a measurement of 13vdc.

      Thanks,
      Jason
P.S. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide

"10 it says GND_5.3)" = PIN 10 is the Ground return of the 5.3V power supply.
You meter must be wrong or you use the wrong ground ref, no way for you to get 13VDC on the GND pin.
And like I said, you need to verify your meter to make sure it is OK.

          Hello
          no start up,relay click continuously
if your appliances using the "BN94-02657M" main board.
          check Pin1 (3.3V) of IC210 inS/C to ground.
IC201 remove, but the line remains in S/C. Replace IC1501 (WM8593SEFT) on main board .

Measurement was wrong. Number one reason to quit before you get tired.
            Pin 10 no voltage.

Pin one is signified by the circle on the IC I believe. No voltage on the side with the circle, but the other side pins 5-8 3.3v then when relay clicks it goes up to 5v relay clicks again then goes down to 3.3.

Should I now remove ICI201 then see if ShortCircuit remains?

I tried to find ICI501(WM859SEFT) online but cannot seem to find it or ICI201 wanted to pull the datasheets.

ICI201 from what I can read with a magnifier is ATMLH848
ICI501 from what I can read with a magnifier is WM8593SEFT.

Where could I buy these from if I need them?

                Thanks,
                Jason

Unplug the small harness next to the back chip on the mainboard just under the main harness.

Try to power on the unit after you do and see if the unit power up.

                  See picture.

There is nothing plugged in there and I do not see any cable that is loose that could go there.

It would have been nice if you put the pin name on each pin.
You need to verify you reading, for example:
Pin 3 which is labeled as 'STBY5.2V' output pin that should have 5.2V standby Voltage, you reading shows '0' Volt!
Pin 4 is labeled as 'G_STBY (5.2V)' which you show the Voltage reading as 5.3V, this is the Ground return pin for the 5.2V Standby power supply.

So I do not know if your readings for other pins are correct or not, so do it all over again and make sure to put the pin names next to the pin number.

So far the main board is not sending the 'POWER-ON/OFF' signal to pin 1 to turn on the power supply since your pin 1 reading is 0V.

Ok, the 6000 must not have smart tv options or is lan only, the 8000 I had has the same mainboard and that plug was attached to a wifi device that has failed and caused the tv to click repeatedly when trying to power on, once I unplugged it from the mainboard the TV worked just fine.

I left it unplugged as the smart tv stuff was super out dated anyway, TV has been working flawlessly since I removed that wifi component out of circuit.

                              Anyway, good luck!

Will redo the voltages. I previously measured them with white connector (30 pin unplugged. Do you want it connectted with it clicking while I take measurements?

" When I unplug connector CNM802 that goes to the AV board it will power on then the LED lights up bright white." You already verify that the power supply board is OK (but the 5.2V STBY may be not) by removing the cable between the main board and the power supply, you saw that the backlights do come on.
You need to have all the cable connected and find out first if the 5.2V standby is steady (this Voltage must be steady under load), if it is, then you need to look at the POWER ON/OFF pin to see if it goes up and down in sync with the clicking of the relay.
