    Pioneer PRO-506PU Plasma

Blue LED blinks 8 times, then 12 times. I am going to look for a service manual.
    Any input will be appreciated.

    Thanks

Tom66 is the man for pioneer plasmas wait for him to post dare say he will. Normally 8 blink is due to a failed 1.8v voltage regulator on the av I/O board.

I don't think that applies to these models unfortunately. Older models. I'll look out for a service manual, it will have error codes in it.

          d2fx, yes..I do.
Tom, I think I found a manual..both errors point to IC5206 communication on the digital video board..shows to be BR24L04FJ..I do not have a hot air station and it is smd..8 leg IC
Might be an excuse to buy one..LOL! I just found the board for $28

the led panel is red and the receiver led blink in blue?
              so the receiver is defective
I've upload the no schematic service manual
may be you need the schematic sm ?

Pioneer Plasma 111FD To Solder or Not to Solder.
                by pixelcap
Hello out there in Badcap land.

I have a Pioneer plasma that gave me the dreaded 8 red blink and shutdown, I have been trying to trace the failure points. On my last inspection while replacing a Y Sustain Board I noticed on the original and replacement board some missing solder, the points of connection
are from the Digital Address Board and the Buffer Boards. I have included the pictures, should I resolder these points or are they unsoldered intentionally? Any help would be much appreciated.

                Thank you

Pioneer SX-S30 need help identifying SMD semiconductors Also need service manual and/or schematic
                by ccbargains
I have not been able to locate a service manual for this Pioneer SX-S30 receiver. The unit will not turn on. I am troubleshooting the switch mode power supply. I found three smd semiconductors that test open while in circuit. The first (Q904) is a transistor marked AZ43W. The second is a diode D905 marked L68 and the last is a diode D906 marked 66 CU1M. I have attached photos.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you....

Pioneer PRO-FHD1 Elite Plasma Monitor Start-Up Problem
                by Phil Stasik
Pioneer Pro-FHD1 Elite. Failure to power on.

I'm new to this awesome forum, and have been reading like mad, but have not seen the answer to my challenge.

We bought this Panasonic plasma monitor 16 years ago and it has never been serviced, so all parts are original, and the unit has never malfunctioned -- until about a month ago. The system fails to power on. At first (a month ago) this happened rarely. We learned to unplug for a few minutes to drain the caps, then re-plug, and the monitor would start normally. Now, we plug-in, turn on the main power switch, and the...

                Hofmann geodyna 6300 Wheel balancer
                by Grouickman
                Hi there,

First, I'm not sure it's the right section to post for this type of device, but could not think of something better.

Ok, so my son (a mechanic) bought a faulty Hofmann Geodyna 6300 wheel balancer (which appears to be mostly a re-branded Snap-on wheel balancer).

I'm looking for any resources (doc, manuals, schematics) that would be available for this device or anyone that would have any knowledge on this particular device (or its Snap-On equivalent).

I'm trying to diagnose the fault(s ?), but I can't find any schematic (appart from the...

[Help Needed] Yatour YT-M06 (Pioneer 1) – Firmware or Schematic Request
                by EduCabral
                Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on reviving a Yatour YT-M06 CD Changer Emulator module for use with a Pioneer 1 interface (specifically with a DEH-P5950IB head unit).

While the unit is recognized as a CD changer, none of the USB, SD, or AUX features respond, which leads me to believe the firmware may be corrupted or incompatible.

                🔧 Details:
                • Model: YT-M06
                • Interface: Pioneer 1
                • MCU: Fujitsu MB89F202
                • Goal: Find a valid .bin firmware file or memory dump from a working unit

I'm happy to attempt flashing, analyzing memory dumps, or doing hardware-level...
