LG 50PA4500 power suply trouble shooting....

    Hey guys,

I have the clicking problem like lots other peapole but the question is not directly related with this problem even if it'a a parts of it. I just did test the power suply board it self on my work table and if i plug the power cord on it i get 47 volts on every pin of both connector, the one going to the ZSUS and the other going to the main. After i did re-instal the board on in the tv panel, plug the power cord on it without pluging any of the 2 boards and i get 0 volts on any of the pins conectors. Unscrew the panel then test it again in place but without any screw and back to 47 volts on every pins. There is something i don't understand here.... Thanks

        HP Envy x360 13-bf0013dx (i7, 8gb) ipa32 la-m024p rev 1b short near PJ1802, type-c not switching to 19 volts

Laptop is HP Envy x360 13-bf0013dx, hp website link, it's an i7-1250U with 8 gig onboard ram.
        Platform: ipa32 la-m024p rev 1b

Originally you'd plug power supply into it and it would take up to 1.2 amps and then drop to 200 milliamps and then go back up again to 1.2, staying all the while at 5 volts. Pressing power button would results in power LED blinking amber 3 times. 3.3 volt rail, 5.1 volt rail present, main power rail 8.8 volts. Power button test pads near EC chip 2.7 volts.

I found a short on the other side:

        ASUS X415EA battery not charging
        by mferna14
Dear friends., working on this ASUS R565EA-UH51T. motherboard part # is X415EA R:6.0. The schematic which is uploaded on Badcaps is not the correct one. Can't figure out the traces. The battery does not charge at all. Firstly it was not turning on. With my experience, I correctly bypassed the 2 initial MOSFET & now the laptop turns on perfectly but does not charge the battery. Upon diagnostics I found that on both MOSFET (N-Channel) GATES volts are missing. Out here it should be nealry 24v to turn on the MOSFET GATEs & then the Laptop would turn on. This missing volts are generating from...

HP 15dy-2021nr wont power on mystery volts
        by supermattch
        Hi everyone.

I am diagnosing my personal laptop, because it wont power on and no leds light up.

At the dc-in there are 8 pins, 1 and 2 shows healthy 19.66 volts. The next three are ground, but the 6th one shows .283 volts. This is strange to me, it should be 3.3 or 5 or aome volts not 0.283v. As I am new to this, I would like some guidance. Please someone advise me on what to check next.

Oh the boardview and schematics I am using is for a similar model as I cannot find the proper one anywhere. Quanta DA0P5HMB8F1 rev F. Nowhere on the internet.

PS5 digital / No Power / No Beep / Good power supply
        by MisterAIL
        Hi everyone,

Brought a non functionnal PS5. Apparently only a bad PSU...
        No beep, nothing.

After some tests i found this :
        - PSU is fine (12 volts stable)
        - 12 volts line is shorted
        - DA9065 was fried, F7003 also => Replaced both of them, short is gone on 12 volts line, no dead short anywhere else.
        - By the way, nothing change. No signal, no power, no beep.

Mesuring all rails with my workbench psu (12 volts input)
        - 0.00 amp drawing
        - 12 volts, 5 volts, 2 volts, 1,15 volts are presents (suppose new DA9065 do is...
