    ASUS X415EA battery not charging

Dear friends., working on this ASUS R565EA-UH51T. motherboard part # is X415EA R:6.0. The schematic which is uploaded on Badcaps is not the correct one. Can't figure out the traces. The battery does not charge at all. Firstly it was not turning on. With my experience, I correctly bypassed the 2 initial MOSFET & now the laptop turns on perfectly but does not charge the battery. Upon diagnostics I found that on both MOSFET (N-Channel) GATES volts are missing. Out here it should be nealry 24v to turn on the MOSFET GATEs & then the Laptop would turn on. This missing volts are generating from the BQ24780S, I even replaced this chip, but no luck. Does anyone have the correct schematics or boardview for this model so I could trouble shooting easily. If so please post it to the correct path. Any tip for this trouble shooting will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks mon2., Can you believe that the Voltage Divider resistors 4.7Mohms & 4.07KOhms was the problem. The 4.7MOhms resistor was dry soldered, not touching the pad. There is a LVDS cable ground which screws to the LCD hinges. While opened the back cover, I noticed that someone opened before & never screwed back to the hinge screws. This was touching this resistor. I ignored all & checked other components. Then upon microscopic observation, I notice this reistor a bit lifted up. Check it & resoldered back to the pads. All is working fine. Battery is charging well & powers up fine. Thanks dear for the tips.

Dell E6400 PT434 type Battery Charging Stuck at 1%. Battery Pinouts?
        by Bowline
My question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?

Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?

My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell...

Asus VivoBook F510UA-AH51 won't run on battery after motherboard replacement
        by dhenion
I'm working on my sister's laptop: Asus VivoBook F510UA-AH51 - The motherboard died so I replaced it.

        The original board was:
        ASUS X510UNR REV 3.0 A

        The replacement board is:
        ASUS X510UNR REV 3.0 B (identical except B vs A - I couldn't find an A board anywhere. Visually they are identical.)

It boots right up on the replaced motherboard and everything works fine on the new motherboard - but it won't run off battery. When I disconnect the charger it immediately dies. When I plug it back in and reboot the system - it still shows the battery at...

        Asus FX505DY - Battery not charging - BQ24780S
        by Iherduleikgemz
        Hello everyone

I have been working on this laptop mentioned in the title, it initially had a shorted capacitor. After I replaced it, the thing started working again, but there is still another problem. The laptop was running off a charger, the battery was reporting 96% charge... but when I unplugged the charger, the laptop died. I've measured the battery voltage - 0V. I think it is locked. (Screenshot from batterymon, below).

I've ordered a new 3rd-party battery, but I think there's something wrong with it too - the laptop boots, but the battery isn't charging. Also,...

ASUS TUF FA506IV-AS76 vram mosfet short, then battery cant charge
        by jkyoho
I recently fixed a FA506IV cam with Vram mosfet short on Vin(19v)to ground. Got both mosfet replaced and now laptop could turns on and GPU everything works but battery not charging. Battery status shows 100% on both BIOS page and Windows system.
Measured voltage got 0.3v on battery red lead not going up. charging mosfet gate low and 19v not passing through inductor.
I also tried dc bench supply 14v charge directly onto battery but seems not drawing anthing.

        Any idea?

Asus GA401Q only working from battery
        by dr.thodt
        Hi,
I have an Asus GA401Q which only works from battery power. That suggests the board is mainly fine.
The battery status is 255%, also with a brand new battery.
The BQ24800 was replaced since it showed signs that it was part of the problem, but possibly the battery was flat at that moment.

If I insert the 19V adapter in the DC jack and measure the current sense resistor's voltage it fluctuates between 0V and 19.5V and the keyboard backlight flashes (probably because the battery is almost flat. It does the same when I run the laptop from battery).
        There's a...
